Mothers Milk Brighton — Restaurant in Melbourne

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME! I would like to add to the list of 1 star reviews… I was eating a pizza from crust at the tables outside, when a nice young man from mothers milk walked out and offered kindly to turn on the heater even though we weren’t patrons of mothers milk, saying that mothers milk and crust were in a partnership deal. His kind attitude actually inspired me to go into the venue and spend some money at there venue, but before that was possible, a rude individual proceeded to harass me saying, the tables we were eating at were for mothers milk customers only and that they were in no partnership deal with crust. To which we explained that a nice young gentleman came out and offered to turn on the heater and offered us to come inside. He then proceeded to harass that nice gentleman and at that we decided to just leave. Here’s a tip: Instead of having a derro running the joint, put that nice gentleman in charge and maybe the place wouldn’t be such...

first time visitor, last time patron, enter approach bar, is there a wine list..."er no..but we have chardy and pinot gri (sic)" "I dunno much about wine: the bartender tells me , so I tell him I will try the chardonnay, which he pours into a wine glass that is definitely not a reidel ..I have to ask what vintage this wine is as he empties the dregs of not one wine bottle, but two!! into said clunky heavy glass." Look I love mothers. it’s a lovely place to relax and meet new people. However they are irresponsible with the amount of alcohol they provide often leaving people stumbling into the street. I have sometimes been witness to street ramp . I recently spent about 2 hours helping get people home because the staff refuse to help or at least accept responsibility for their dangerous lack of judgment when it comes to service. Their love music is amazing especially in Brighton wher the only thing you hear in other venues is...
