This place serves the worst kebabs and unhealthiest one in the whole world after Singapore. They only have lamb meat, but not beef (well, that's fine)-it's the cheapest lamb they could find. It tastes and smell awfull, like meat in the garbage, not only that, actual meat is maybe less than 8percent, the rest is all fat. Kebab is soaked in oil. Also, I didn't ask any sauces yet they put garlic sauce. They said they put on all their kebabs. I would have eaten the kebab if it was descent garlic sauce though i didn't ask for it. It was this water mixed with this smelly lab made chemical thing and tinest amount of yogurt. Again just to save 10cent, they can't even make proper garlic sauce. They didn't make another kebab without garlic sauce for me so I left all the food I had ordered and left. Of course they took the money for something I didn't order for. Kebab shops ask what we would like in our kebab or ask for which sauce all around Australia except this kebab shop. What are they going to do next! We go in to their shop, take our money and would be served with any kebab they want! I bet they don't eat the kebabs they serve to their customers! Well! That's what I heard from my friend. Even they find the taste of the kebab in their own shop awfull, ...
Read moreI had their 'Deluxe Platter' with lamb, and a turkish coffee. The lamb they used was the processed variety, not the real meat pieces. It tasted cheap and fatty, and occasionally you bite into particles of bones in it. The rice was kind of bland. But the salad that came with it was fresh and clean. However, when I later checked the menu, it specified bread, which they did not give me. Additionally, there was something strange with their turkish coffee. I have had turkish coffee alot. Usually after leaving it for a few minutes the sediment settles all to the bottom and you can drink most of the liquid from the top. However, about half of the coffee was still in emulsion, which is strange...it was like drinking mud...The staff at the beginning were nice, although they did not come to see me again after bringing my food. The meal was disappointing, especially the lamb, which gave me an uncomfortable feeling in my...
Read moreThe pistachio baklava was the best I've ever had, and I'm not a fan of pistachio generally. The kebab was really good, if a bit meat heavy, or just lacking in lettuce. The gozleme was nice, but not blowaway. In general it was good but it was very difficult to order (and we actually didn't get what we tried to order) as the friendly man behind the counter spoke limited English. Absolutely good on him for being as good as he is cos it is so hard to learn a new language, but it's just something to be aware of if you are going there. Be as clear and concise as possible to make communication easier! Note that the kebabs are in a Turkish bread rather than a wrap, which I hadn't come across previously. I'm no kebab...
