I lived in Korea for years. Say goodbye to the airy, fatty “Korean fried chicken” (Gami, Nene, even Chimac) we usually find in Melbourne. Itaewon Place is the real deal - the stuff that you find in Seoul and hold as the benchmark when you get back to Melbourne and realise that we don’t have enough Koreans here.
Bibi (owner) has a vision for Korean food in this town which I hope will become the new standard. Top marks for the chicken, but I cannot forget how perfect the tacos were too. I can't believe it, this will be a regular for me...
