Lord of the Fries - South Yarra — Restaurant in Melbourne

I can't believe I've lived in Melbourne nearly 20 years and only just tried Lord Of The Fries now.

So glad we did because it was really really good. Also kicking myself for not doing it sooner. No excuses.

Wanted to try their original burger and we got the bbq rib sandwich with cajun fries

First impression was it was way better than any of the new alternative burgers. And i'd order this rib sandwich over a McRib, which I loved, any day of the week.

I'd say it was prob priced on the low end compared to other independent burger places around here, who I assume enjoy economy of scale by using meat in general.

It looked a little small at first but the flavours were so on point we were both really satisfied by the end. Eating in would prob save heaps too, it was a splurge on UE

Now I could not see the Bbq Rib sandwich on the main website. I implore you not to make this a seasonal thing like Mcd's do. It's like travelling in business class. Now I've had it, I can't go back. I've ruined that for myself and can't afford to leave the country anymore, but at least I have this.

Our family visited ‘Lord of Fries’, ‘South Yarra’ store on couple of occasion (second time was specifically as requested by our son)

On both the occasion as our family as we walked into the restaurant we were great with smiling owners/staff (Avish/Kashish) who enthusiastically welcome us. With much care and friendliness, they confirmed our query (for diary free product range) and took our order. The place was kept very clean, and we had to wait minimum time to have to order delivered. The food was freshly prepared and tasted delicious. We enjoyed some interesting conversations with staff. OVERALL, we simply loved that place and especially the people and HIGHLY RECOMMEND for people to visit this wonderful...

When we were here the lady that served us took 20 minutes. She first nearly charged us $180 instead of $70. She had no idea what she was doing it was very bad customer service. We had to repeat our order nearly 10 times. This is our first time coming here we are very disappointed and hope the staff here get trained better. She was completely rude to us and gave attitude when we were trying our best to correct the order as she kept getting it wrong. I feel as we have been disrespected and it sad to see that the customer service was so bad. I hope actions will be taken to insure this doesn’t happen in the future.
