If I could give my experience at this place less than 1 star, I would. Hands down the most disgusting meal I have ever eaten. The beef skewers were tiny, sad little pieces of the cheapest cut of meat, it was sinewy and oily in texture, I honestly wouldn’t even feed my dog such rubbish. Every bite left a thick unpleasant aftertaste of what I assume must be the cheap and nasty oil the food is cooked in, not to mention the horrible strange tasting spice that every piece of food has been adulterated with. The calamari was rubbery and foul, I would have been better off eating the sole of my shoe. The fried rice looked like someone had regurgitated it into a bowl but was so lacking in flavor you had to drown it in soy sauce to even contemplate swallowing a mouthful. I was thankful for my watered down Asahi so I could wash away the regret that lingered in my mouth and the disappointment I felt having to pay for this retched meal. I can’t believe people have the audacity to serve this and then present you with a bill afterwards....
Read moreLamb Skewers 👍not too salty, chewy and delicious with the right amount of seasoning
However, Fried Rice 👎 was below average because there flavor weren’t there and not enough peas / carrot / corn.
Eggplant👌was tasty but it will be better if they cross-slice (not fully) it before adding seasonings to grill. Or slice the surface first before serving so it will be easier / provide a knife with the eggplant.
Grilled Oyster 🦪 x 2 in a dish 👎 wasn’t too fresh and was too salty, too much garlic on it.
Other dishes were great and especially the Tofu & Century Egg 👍 it was so refreshing and the flavor combination was perfect. Great as starter.
Staff were warm and friendly. They were playing lots of good and relaxing Chinese songs so ambience was 👍
Will I be back? Yes. Mainly for skewers and to try more dishes.
I hope they will improve based on this feedback and...
Read moreMy partner and I were craving for Sichuan BBQ in the area and came across this place with loud but jamming Chinese music. Very up beat vibe however the food was.. OK. Good value as the last Sichuan BBQ I had was double the price for two people. It had a great variety on the menu but there were a few items sold out. But I sensed the food wasn't fresh and nor properly grilled. The most disappointing was the whole squid. It wasn't entirely grilled and tasted if it came from the freezer. It had a rubbery texture and a marinade that didn't have the right flavours. The winners were the chicken wings (garlic flavour) and potato slices! Ordered them twice! Service was quick and didn't have to wait too long in between orders. Overall, it meets the needs for your taste of Sichuan BBQ but in my opinion, there's...
