Two for two now I’ve been extremely disappointed in what I’ve received at this maccas. I’ve never written a bad review before and I don’t think I’ve ever had two bad maccas experiences in a row like this.
The first time I ordered here I got a large fries, and once I got home to have them, it was to my disappointment that the fries were completely unsalted, like basically none at all, tasteless lol, had to add my own, surely it’s not that hard nor time-consuming to salt your fries? and no i did not request for no salt i lovee the (usual but not this time obviously) saltiness of maccas fries
The second time was yesterday. I got hashbrowns pretty much first thing in the morning, which at that time of day I feel is when you’d most expect things to come out the freshest & piping hot. but no. they were very lukewarm to cool, once again very disappointing.
I’m just surprised, annoyed, and disappointed, because I feel like fries and hash browns should be two of the simplest things at maccas should be pretty easy to get right, especially when it’s not busy (both times I went were either very early or very late in the day, no peak times).
Anyways, I hope this maccas improves coz if I get disappointed 3 for 3 i’m actually gonna be so frickin sad. I've only recently moved into the area and this is the...
Read moreWe ordered through drive through- a double Mcspicy meal and asked for fresh fries. My partner was asked to wait for the fresh fries btw. We also ordered 24 nuggets (which were stale and obviously cold) and an Angus burger.
We received a double Mcchicken burger (not a double mcspicy) and cold fries- they made my partner wait for cold fries?
I called the store to let them know. Kate who took the phone call was disengaged and frankly had a “I couldn’t care less attitude”- her response was “oh, I’ll get a voucher sent out.” No apology- no customer service. Understand it’s maccas- but come on!
She did not know what type of voucher, when it would be sent or what monetary value it would offer. She said, “I don’t really know when or what they’ll send.” Didn’t give any confidence that any sort of resolution would be made really. Said it would be up to her manager. I had to ask if I was going to get a resolution if she didn’t have any idea what she was even offering. I asked for her managers name, and her own name- her tone was now rude and short. She said her manager Anthony would call me and let me know. I doubt it. Do better- with your product, do better with staff training- do...
Read moreThis store is currently running time tests everyday now through the drive-through. As a result, staff are asking the majority of drive through customers to wait in the parking lot so as to not record long wait times. This practice is not indicative of true performance of the drive through. The parking lot was full, absolutely jam packed to the extent that I had to park on the street just for a coffee and toastie! I was told to move on and park (I assume that it’s because the McCafe pace was lagging behind restaurant pace). I was not allowed to wait at the window for the coffee and sandwich, but rather was made to park on the street. This resulted in a dangerous situation for the staff member who was put in a position to navigate a hazardous parking lot and weave through cars in the rain to bring the order out to not only me but to the other cars filling the parking lot. Super super dangerous and poor performance. If you intend to run a time test then run it properly and don’t cheat at the expense of your staff and belittling your McCafe customers. Poor performance. Management needs to prioritise correct practice and treating all...
