Homemade, healthy, cheap Indian food in melbourne @me_yogi_indian_kitchen where everything is freshly made in house from their freshly ground spices to yoghurt to every single curry. Nothing has any preservatives, or colors or additives. It’s healthy, portion controlled even and also very affordable. Their lunch bowls are perfect for quick go-to lunches under $15 Must try the vegan bowl: Cauliflower and the Butter chicken bowl, both come with rice and salad and very filling as well. And ofcourse their thalis are all under $25 must try the special thali comes with three curries and their specialty 1947 butter chicken is highly recommended and it’s so so flavourful yet moderately spicy enough to make you want this again and again, classic butter chicken, not crazy sweet but again enough to bring that classic taste to it. Also it has pickled onions, naan, rice, raita and pappadum. Their matri chaat is a signature one that you’re gonna love it with all the amazing flavours in this, and also do try the golgappas. Very yummy. I absolutely enjoyed the salted mint lassi, perfect to have it on a hot day, very refreshing to drink. The staff and the owners are such welcoming and helpful folks, service is super prompt, so no waiting to get your lunch bowl or any food whether you are dining in or taking away. Prices are super cheap considering the great quality and tasteful food they serve here.

If you’re looking for an authentic Indian dining experience with a modern twist, Me & Yogi Indian Kitchen is a must-visit. Their signature Matri Chaat and Pani Puri on a tray are not just dishes—they’re an interactive delight for your senses, blending tangy, spicy, and sweet flavors perfectly. The ambiance is cozy, creating the perfect atmosphere for enjoying their fresh, high-quality curries. A special mention goes to the Butter Chicken 1947, a rich, velvety classic with a unique touch, and the Kadhi, which is a comforting, flavorful surprise. Their Lunch Bowl is another standout—packed with fresh, vibrant flavors, it’s a perfect choice for a satisfying yet wholesome meal. To finish, their Rabri and Kulfi desserts are a perfect end to a meal, showcasing the chefs’ dedication to authentic, quality ingredients. What truly sets them apart is their commitment to freshness. Every ingredient bursts with flavor, making Me & Yogi Indian Kitchen a contender for Melbourne’s freshest and finest Indian cuisine. Highly recommended!

I now get why people are recommending their Matri Chaat cause what is this flavour combination 😩🤌🏻 bomb as heck omg. This is a street food made with fried flour crisps topped with mint and tamarind chutney, sweetened yoghurt, boiled potatoes, onions, crushed spices and coriander. Very tangy and tasty, was my first time trying this and definitely won't be my last 🤭. Their thali meals are also very worth it, $19.90 to $24.90 for a generous amount of protein of your choice, rice, naan, pickled onions and papadam. (Good for sharing between 2!) Our choice of protein is 1947 butter chicken which is the OG recipe and a bit thicker than the other butter chicken option on their menu. They also have rice bowls for less than $15 👀 such good value! Featured: • Matri Chaat ⭐️ • Pani Puri • 4 Papadam With Sweet Chutney ⭐️ • 1947 Butter Chicken Thali ⭐️ • Desi Ghee Goat • Mango Lassi (honestly everything we got was yum but if I rly have to choose, it's the one with star emoji 😌)
