This review is specifically for the Star Wars Galactic Cafe that is currently set up at the museum and is in partnership with the LEGO Star Wars exhibition. The best part about it is the visual representation. They did a very good job at making the cafe look like an actual cantina from the Star Wars universe from the props behind the bar right down to the music and sound effects playing in the background. However, the rest is not so great. The food was well below average. My family and I discussed it and we don;'t even think they have a kitchen or even a chef back there. We think that they literally just use frozen and prepackaged food that is reheated in a microwave. The chips that came with the burgers were not even proper fries. They were just potato chips out of a packet. Completely overpriced for what you actually get and the only reason for that is because each menu item is named/themed after a certain Star Wars character or location. My uncle ordered his burger with no tomato because he absolutely hates tomato and they still gave him his burger with tomato in it. When we asked them about it, they said that the burgers are all pre-made and that it was not possible to take it off, so they refunded him his money and gave him a free Chewbacca cookie and a coffee. Why even give the option to customize an order and they can't even change it? Hardly any selection of food to choose from as well. Absolutely not worth it at all. If you are a diehard Star Wars fan, you might get a kick out of it for a few minutes sitting and eating in a cantina, but otherwise, don;t waste your...

Staff seemed friendly, but also a little fed-up to be there.
We were looking at the drink menu first and found it unbelievable the lack of 'regular' drinks..... no soft drinks, no milkshakes, no juices. Honestly had to choose drinks we weren't super wanting.
Was totally not impressed that we were forced to order at least 1 main meal....we wanted to have some sides and desserts but nope apparently 'policy' demanded we had mains. Honestly they probably would have got more $$$ from us with ordering the sides and desserts.
One of the drinks we ordered was an 'ice chocolate' although you'd never know this! the drink was tinyyyyy....had no icecream or cream which is pretty standard of an ice chocolate. This one was literally a bit of chocolate powder, milk and ice....total rip off for the cost.... the glass was smaller than the water glasses.
The food was very average.... the 'omlette' was more like a super flat pancake and not worth the money at all. The pork and noodle dish was super basic and could make this at home. Once again not worth the high price. While the food tasted all right, there was a slight bitter taste due to what we received and the high prices!
Setting is quite nice and secluded, but this is about the only plus this...
Read moreGalactic Cafe is a 'themed' destination - not a restaurant destination for gourmet food lovers. We brought 4à US visitors (we had to go in and book in person for 8 persons). The service was abysmal, despite being ordered via QR code on each table. Items were forgotten and missed. (We showed the QR code app order), and the waiter reluctantly went to retrieve the item. Still got it wrong. Was swearing as walking back a second time. (This is inappropriate at any time in customer service- let alone in a "family friendly" environment!) The meals were ok. They appeared manufactured. The flavour was okay. As mentioned earlier, the attraction here was more the vibe than the food. The Lego exhibition was on next to us. So we had a good percentage of families there. There were 4à life-size manikins. (3à Storm troopers and Kylo Ren) and a motionless BB-8 was there as well. (My remote control BB-8 has more character than these motionless figurines.) We would not go again. Unless you are a serious fan, go...
