We dined here on a Sunday afternoon and opted for the bottomless option ($69pp + Sunday Surcharge). To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. To start with, the feed me menu was nowhere near enough food for the 11 of us. In total there were 7 dishes that were presented, everyone ended up only being able to try 1-2 bites of each option. I have never had a feed me menu not being able to fill me up before, especially at a whopping price of $70. The food itself wasn’t that of super high quality and I didn’t feel that it was my $70 worth. When the staff came to ask us how the food was, we were quite honest and asked if there was more food being prepared as we weren’t full enough. The staff’s response was to give us the A La Carte Menu and suggested we order more food at our own cost. Now, this may have not mattered if we were at least able to drink our money’s worth, however, each drink took on average about 20 minutes to come and at times even longer. This is beyond ridiculous considering the fact that there were only about 2-3 tables besides us at the venue. If you’re going to advertise the lunch to be bottomless, everyone should be able to drink however much they want. Eventually, we started to get a bit impatient with the drinks taking way too long to come, so we ended up double ordering in case they had forgotten about our order. Some of the staff started noticing we reordered some drinks and started this “rule” that each person was only able to order one drink at a time. To this, we explained that some of us had been waiting for really long duration of time, but they started surveilling all of our drinks before accepting any of our orders. They didn’t understand that we started reordering drinks before we finished the drink completely because we could already anticipate the drinks would take too long to arrive.
We will not be returning and do not recommend anyone to order the bottomless option unless you’re coming in a...

You can order A La Carte like we did or from one of their banquets, priced from $98pp to $158pp. The food menu marries contemporary Australian cuisine and ingredients with Chinese-Canto influences. The drinks menu is impressively extensive, I would recommend the “Into the Woods” and the a “Golden Bird”. 🍸
We weren’t advised prior but we visited on 520 day (Chinese online slang for “I love you”) which had a special set menu. We were kindly still able to order from the A La Carte menu, granted we were happy with extended wait times.
✔️ Rock Oysters ✔️ Hiramasa Kingfish ⭐️ Prawn Toast - next level crispy, juicy prawn on top ✔️ Black Truffle Xiao Long Bao - very subtle truffle flavour. ⭐️ Wagyu Dumplings - amazing flavour. ➖ Dry Aged Duck Breast - cooked well, very gamey. Veggies cold? Not rested pooled blood. ➖ Humpty Doo Barramundi, Crispy Potatoes - No potatoes as promised on the menu? The only dish that came out hot. Although It needed some sort of broth. ✖️ Sher M7+ Wagyu, Black Pepper Sauce - very fatty, it felt like it was cut the wrong way? The sauce was nice but very thick like jam. Cooked rare not medium rare. Presentation looked very different to their IG photos.
Overall, I would recommend Ming for starters and entrees during Happy Hour. All of the hot dishes were served cold-lukewarm which didnt allow us to enjoy them at full, most required seasoning also. Considering they just won a hat, it did sadly fall short of our high expectations and didn’t feel the price tag matched the product.

REVIEW: ❤️ Loved the (not in order): Five flavour calamari: The umami sauce was incredible, and the texture was immaculate. We don't know what the five flavour was 🤫 but it was addictive. Humpty Doo Barramundi: This is the way I wish my mother pan-fried fish. Crispy skin that shattered in mouth, no bones, and a soft tender flesh. Dry Aged duck: Crispy skin, moist and blushing on the inside - just the way it should be cooked.
Everything out was great. Notably, the chilli boiled M5+ wagyu was spicy enough to make our ancestors proud, although the meat would be how our parents would make it (well done).
💕 Service was exquisite. The owner/manager was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. He came by and passionately explained the method and source behind each dish which we loved. The waitstaff was attentive and delightful, keeping waters topped off and checking in to make sure we were OK.
