Absolutely appalling, from start to finish. Things didn't start well with saying hello to the waitress who glared back, without response. Overlooking this, we ordered: Agadashi tofu, which was really quite good, followed by salmon carpaccio that can only be described as horrendous and borderline scary. For the most part, the salmon was pure congealed fat on a plate, with slimy and very badly cut offerings. When the waitress reappeared she asked if there was a problem and we explained that the carpaccio was inedible. She didn't reply and removed it from the table. She then brought out the Japanese burger thing my partner ordered which he immediately abandoned after tasting it, and my seafood noodle soup was, at best, hideous, which was also abandoned. When my partner went in to settle the bill, he was me with extreme attitude and nothing removed from the bill, despite them asking and being informed about the salmon slurry. The absolute removal of care and care factor was so evident at this place that it was hard to believe, and the service bordered on hostile. My partner had fond memories of having been here a long time ago but things have clearly changed, as it was difficult to choose which was worse, out of the food, which was just revolting, or the service, which was much the same....

Both dishes were very over cooked and the fish was pretty inedible it was so dry. I asked the waitress after about 50 minutes how long our food was going to be but she never returned to tell me the answer. 10 minutes later and pretty appalling good arrived. I'm so disappointed that my boyfriend paid before I had the chance to contest the bill - I don't think we should have paid for the main course at all. Reviewing the bill of a table clearly having a terrible experience is certainly something that I would have done when I worked in hospitality and I'm very disappointed our bill arrived with no concession or apology.
