Sushi & Nori at Collins Square is a standout choice for a fresh, delicious lunch in the heart of Melbourne's Docklands precinct. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite between meetings or enjoying a relaxed meal, this spot consistently delivers on quality, speed, and friendly service. tripadvisor.com.ph The menu offers a vibrant selection of Japanese favourites, including sushi, sashimi, bento boxes, and hot dishes like tempura and gyoza. The sushi train is a highlight, presenting a colourful parade of nigiri, rolls, and sashimi that are freshly prepared and replenished regularly. For those seeking something heartier, made-to-order options like udon noodles and deluxe sashimi platters are available. Service is efficient and welcoming, making it easy to get in and out during a busy workday without feeling rushed. The staff are attentive and helpful, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The atmosphere is clean and modern, with a bright interior that adds to the overall dining experience. It's a great spot for both solo diners and groups, offering a comfortable setting to enjoy a meal. Overall, Sushi & Nori at Collins Square is a reliable and enjoyable option for anyone looking for quality Japanese cuisine in a convenient location. With its fresh offerings, efficient service, and inviting atmosphere, it's a place you'll find yourself returning to.

There are many exciting choices for workers to choose from at Collins Square food court especially at lunch time. My colleague and I are only eyeing for their Sushi Train. The seafood is very fresh. They even make sushi with blackrice. Amazingly yummy. They also made sushi with brown rice. Their fried chicken is to die for. The deep fried prawn is so super yummy. Put it this way, every single dish on that train looks delicious. I'm sure they taste good too. We had 11 dishes. Satisfied. We love this place so much that we decided to try their bento. We went with the Chilli Fried Chicken bento. It looks so inviting. It costs $14. The portion is big. There are so many pieces of chicken. The chicken dumpling tastes good although it's really salty. They could have pumped up the Chilli a bit more. It's kind of more sweet than chilli. Overall, it's still a good place to go for lunch.

Good quality sushi. The deluxe nigiri box was fresh and offered a good selection of 8 nigiris. The take way boxes are on the pricier side however their sushi train is way too expensive. Starting price for a plate is $4.5. If you work it out you could be paying $9 for 4 pieces of nigiri lol.

Sushi & Nori – A Sliver of Grace Amid Fluorescent Perdition By the standards of even the most indecisive deity, the Collins Square food court offers more choices than strictly necessary. One could walk in at noon and emerge days later, a broken thing, clutching lukewarm ramen and existential confusion. Most of it is just food. Quick food. Food that says, "You won’t remember me, and that’s fine."

But Sushi & Nori? That is different.

It is fast food, yes—but prepared with reverence. Precision. With enough seared salmon to make time briefly stop and politely ask, “Are you dining in?” I return almost daily now. Two trays of seared salmon. Two California rolls. Forty Australian dollars, placed on the counter like an offering to something benevolent and raw.

The staff know me by sight, and though we exchange few words, there is a quiet understanding. This is not just lunch. It is a ritual. An elegant affirmation that, for a few brief moments in the day, the world is not on fire.

It was during one such pilgrimage that he returned.

Graven M. Ravenhurst, Esq. arrived not from the escalators nor the lifts, but rather from the corner of the court where no corridor exists. A silence fell, though no music had been playing. The lights above flickered, briefly casting long shadows across the soy sauce dispensers.

He said nothing at first. He stood before the sushi counter and regarded the glistening seared salmon like an ancient oracle judging the entrails of emperors.

Then, softly—just once—he spoke.

“The fish remembers. We eat, and it forgives. But only once.”

And then he was gone.

No footsteps, no departure—just absence. Only his calling card remained, neatly placed atop my second tray of salmon like a benediction.

Graven M. Ravenhurst, Esq. Gastronomic Auditor & Gentleman of the Final Threshold. And written in elegant handwriting at the bottom: “If one more soul calls them ‘sammies,’ I shall return with great force and a dipping...
