We stumbled across a pizza place that’s nothing short of a revelation. From the moment we walked in, we knew this wasn’t your average slice joint — and by the time we took our first bite, it was clear we’d found something special. Easily a 10/10 experience, this spot has quickly climbed to the top of our “must-return” list.
Let’s talk pizza. Specifically: the pepperoni pizza with hot honey drizzle. Wow. Whoever came up with this combo deserves a culinary medal. The pepperoni is rich and crispy around the edges, slightly curled to perfection — just the way you dream it should be. But what takes it over the top is the hot honey — a golden drizzle of sweet, sticky heat that hits all the right notes. It balances the saltiness of the meat with a kiss of spice and sweetness, dancing on your taste buds without overpowering the bold flavors of the tomato sauce and gooey mozzarella. It’s the kind of pizza that makes you pause mid-bite and look around the table just to say, “Are you tasting this?!”
The crust? Impeccable. Thin yet sturdy, with that satisfying crunch on the outside and a slight chew in the center. It’s clearly crafted with care and skill — no soggy bottoms or underbaked edges here. Every element is in perfect harmony.
But it’s not just the food that makes this place shine. While you wait (which, by the way, isn’t long at all), you can kill time in the best kind of nostalgic way: a pinball machine tucked near the counter. It’s a small touch, but one that instantly adds charm and character. We had a blast taking turns racking up high scores while catching whiffs of the goodness being prepped in the kitchen.
The staff was warm and welcoming, clearly passionate about what they do. They were more than happy to recommend pairings and walk us through their signature toppings — and the pride they take in their food shows.
All in all, this pizza place is a hidden gem that deserves every bit of praise. Whether you’re a pizza purist or someone who lives for trying new flavor combos, the hot honey pepperoni is a must-try. We left full, happy, and already planning...
Read moreGreat pizza, good toppings, very thin base. My photo is from the day after so it's cold at that point, but even cold it was pretty amazing!
I've had a little bit better, so 4 stars for the pizza itself considering the highish prices, but the owner was also so nice that he let us share the pizza and other food from next door in the restaurant (my gf prefers noodles to pizza), This makes it a 5 star review for sure.
I will mention again it's not exactly cheap though, a bit more expensive than average.... If they went back to their original prices it would be better...
It would also be nice to have a couple more pizza options as well.
Best in the area though, ...
Read moreMy sister and I swung by here at 2am on a saturday and had the best aussie style vegetarian pizza in memory. She added pineapple and chilli flakes - try it! The pizza was well balanced in flavour and nicely cooked. We usually take pizza from other places home and put it in the oven to get the texture how we like it, but here the base was properly cooked and had a sprinkle of semolina or something on the bottom for a light crispy crust. Highly recommended. The chef (Greg or Gordy?) was an absolute legend, full of beans & genuine oldschool hospitality. Across the road from the bergy seltzer and bandroom, easy, delicious post-event snack option -...
