Najimii Restaurant — Restaurant in Melbourne

I came here starved after a long day of fasting, ordered the mixed kebab and was full when I left (and i'm a big bloke).

The kebabs were tender, juicy and full of flavour, you gotta wrap them in the bread with some onions and boom, you're in paradise.

The atmosphere is also very colourful, bright and nicely decorated with pictures from Afghanistan. Relaxing music and clips are also played from the TV. There was no one else on a late Monday night so it was like therapy for me.

For someone who had a long day and didn't feel like chit chatting, those guys made it very easy for me. Just a smile, and a thank you is just what I needed: no "anything else?" No "would you like a drink with that?" No "how's your day been?" No "where are you from, what's your name?" Nothing of that unnecessary words. "I want this please, thank you, good night." Uncomplicated and not pushy at all.

Food was not bad pretty decent i mean for the price I would expect a lot more quantity and some special flavour but not much difference between the others in the street. And especially 8$ for a plate of rice and 20$ for mixed kebab lol the restaurants next door are way more reasonable price for the same items than this place. If you're desperate like we we're at 12am midnight then it's no option so you can eat here. But if you have a choice think before proceeding as we Won't be back unless the price or quantity improves. I’m a NZ & a big eater 🤣 but the first time I ate at Najimi was back in 2017 with my wife & last time I was there was 2019. Tonight we ate our usual dinner from Najimi after 3 years which was Qaboli Polo - Shank for $25🤎🤙🏽 And my wife got her Sheer Yakh - Ice cream for $10🤩 Still taste delicious from 2017 till now.
