Dough Works — Local services in Melbourne

Went to Dough Works for a lunch sit down. It's a food truck / container shop inside of the Dandenong Market so it can be hard to find if you don't know how to navigate the market. Decent amount of free parking outside if you can find one.

Atmosphere is soubd loud and visually loud since it's a large market. Finding a seat to sit and eat can be competitive.

Cash only and no card so they make you go use an ATM which has a $3-4 fee. Cash only is ridiculous for 2025.

We ordered some kebab combos. Food was made to order and can watch them craft your kebab. Kebabs were really salty despite the sauces. Tasted average but gave a really bad gut feel after it sits for 15 minutes in the stomach for some reason, happened to all of us.

Chips were not bad and there was good portion with decent seasoning.

Wouldn't go back here unless really really desperate for a kebab while inside the...

Yummy kebabs and gozlemes. Excellent customer service. I unfortunately dropped the HSP while I was paying for the coke and the guy (with beard) making the kebabs said not to worry and made me another one free of charge even though I insisted to pay. There are very few people around with such excellent customer service. Your customer service will take you to heights. Best wishes...

This is my go to place gozleme. My favourite is the lamb, spinach and feta. The external breading is somehow both crisp and soft at the same time and which traps in the steamy juice of the lamb. Goes perfectly with spicy sauce on the side. Can look a little busy and choatic when lining up but somehow the staff are able to keep up and the line integrity is maintained even...
