Very disappointed by the whole experience. Made a booking through google and when we arrived the girl at the counter had no idea about the booking. After looking at the Bain-Marie, we should have walked out.
There was not many people there but the one table that was next to us had a few kids which they had no control over and were exceptionally noisy. We order a few things off the menu and as they came out, one was worse than the other. The chicken curry which cost $16.80 was taken out of the Bain Marie - 3 pieces. The Saga panner was laughable. Watery with frozen spinach and tiny pieces of cheese. The Biryani was okay however lacked any real lamb pieces. The chicken lollipop was dry and must have been deep fried multiple times to look fresh. It was horrible.
The only good thing was the Satay chicken
The general consensus was we will definitely not be going to this...
Read moreWe were really looking forward to a warm, flavourful meal after a long trip, so we placed a big takeaway order hoping for comfort and authenticity. Unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing.
Every dish we ordered — including the kway teow, fried rice, nasi goreng, noodles, and Hyderabadi biryani — was completely bland, lacking even the most basic seasoning. We had to add salt to every bite, which says a lot. One of my friends even found eggshells in her dish, which was unacceptable.
The Hyderabadi biryani, in particular, was misleading — it came with shredded chicken, dry and flavourless, and nowhere close to authentic in texture or spice.
It felt like a waste of money, especially after such high expectations. Sadly, we won’t...
Read moreThis restaurant is located where Nur restaurant was. The place was big and had many tables, spaced out nicely. We ordered a nasi lemak with fried chicken and a two-meat with one veggie with rice. The nasi lemak rice was flavourful and fluffy (portion was very generous). Sambal was a standout - not too spicy and tasted like the ones back in Malaysia. The fish curry was cooked very well, and the gravy went very well with the rice. The meat in the mutton curry was a little bit chewy, but the curry was tasty. The eggplant curry reminded me of Rich Mahal, and it turned out that the chef Siva used to work at Rich previously. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for all Malaysian curry lovers. P/s they serve banana leaf meals...
