There is something crazy happening in my mind. Everyday when I wake up, it feels as if I am not real, like I exist in a different place that isn't actually this world but is somewhere else, perhaps where the laws of physics work differently and the animals are different and strange. When I was being a teenager, I got bullied a lot for being so philosophical. I think it is because the other teenagers didn't understand me. I would say wisdomic sentences. "Is there ever an answer to Justice?" I would say. The other teenaged kids would throw things at me like boogers or spit or other gross things like chewing gum. Are you laughing at me? You shouldn't be. When I got home, I would take a shower, and all the gross stuff would wash off. When my "peers" went home, they would take a shower and then come out of the shower and still be morons. I'm working on a collection of essays right now that is called "What Is, And Also What Isn't?: The Musings Of A Philosophical Thinker." I am going to take the book on a big tour, and a lot of women will come to listen to me read my writing at book shops. I love women, and I want one as a wife. I have noticed that often women spend time in book stores, where instead of showing off their curvy bodies they show off their enormous minds. Bob Dylan, Merriam Webster, Ernest Hemmingway. These are just a few of the artists I look up to. I also look up to the staff at Nasty's, because they are so dedicated to creating a loving, nurturing environment for me to be in. It's not easy for me to relax, but when I'm at Nasty Bar, I am feeling relaxed and...

If the time an vibe is right, I usually like to ask the bartenders' favourite cocktail, then order one for myself. Outside of this, and especially with lower staffing, one of the tap beers will suffice pleasantly.
It's also a blessing when the very Ingrid herself, gives you a warm and personal greeting. I cannot atest if this happens on each night of trading, but regardless, it is welcome.
Nasty's remains the cool little hangout spot that dosen't take itself too seriously. Reasonably priced pints, with service that will leave you struggling to realise, you haven't left the comy confines of your own abode, and are infact, sitting at a bar on high street.
Well worth the look, venture in, and several drinks that follow...
Read moreFor some patrons, it is the atmosphere, for others it is the service, or the drinks, company, or the crew. For some customers like myself, I want all of these in my checklist and it is not often that you get all of these factors in one venue! This is why Nasty’s in Thornbury is tops and highly recommend it to everyone.
The Yakitori, Tori no Karaage and Nasu no Karaage were perfect dishes with my drink.
Also, be prepared to be greeted by their top security — Arrow! He’s all muscles and has a big smile. The place is pooch friendly and we met Tuesday (King Charles Cavalier)...
