Service was slow, meal not prepared as per dietary order, unwilling to rectify

I ordered takeaway and was VERY clear & specific with my dietary requirements.

Waited 25 minutes when the restaurant was empty & had to ask where my food was as 4+ customers that had arrived & ordered after me were served.

I checked the meal before leaving to ensure the specific ingredients were NOT in my meal however they were.

The staff walked away after giving me my food so I had to wait for someone to come back.

When I told them it was wrong they walked away and didn’t tell me what they would do.

I was now in a hurry as I needed to get back to work & still no one was available to talk to.

They said it would take 3 minutes to re-cook which if they can cook it in that time why did they take so long to begin with?!

When I said I wanted a refund, the girl delayed processing it while they started to re-cook it.

I told them multiple times to give me a refund so I could go but they still delayed and were very difficult.

I ended up walking out without my refund as I needed to get back to work due to my job being...

Update: dine in pho bowls seem to be A LOT bigger than takeaway, which is a big plus if you want to eat at restaurant but also kind of annoying when you want to just takeaway and it’s skimpy as. They also charge 50 cents for a takeaway container, which I find slightly annoying, but understandable, but annoying.

Pho taste was on point (or maybe I was just really hungry). 9/10 But the pho soup was still pipping hot when I got home- just how I like it! Rare beef and brisket were both yummy.

Great location. 10/10 I always go past Pho Flinders Express to/from work. To be honest, it’s not the most appealing looking restaurant from the outside and even on the inside.

Portion size was disappointing. 5/10 I ordered a medium pho and there were hardly any noodles!! I’m still hungry… if this is a medium pho, I wonder what the small pho is like. Or was I given a small pho when I paid for the price of a medium pho? Who knows. Either way, I will definitely try this place again! Maybe I’ll get a large pho next time and see if that’s...

Found ourselves here after a recommendation, although the restaurant has been here since 2013. I must have walked past many times and never been in. We both ordered the “rare beef and brisket pho” my friend had this since he didn’t want the tendons and they didn’t have the beef balls he wanted nor his choice of beer. Maybe because it was a public holiday 🤷‍♂️and we overheard some other customers not been able to order their first choice of meal/ingredient. Nevertheless the pho was the softest rice noodle we’ve ever had but still was intact and not broken strands. The beef was fragrant and tasty. The brisket was thinly sliced and I mistook it for the rare beef slices. Broth wasn’t particularly rich but wasn’t thin neither. Piping hot broth; this hit the spot. Will be returning for our fix of hot soup especially as Southern...

Maybe I’ll get a large pho next time and see if that’s more filling.

The worst Pho I have ever had. The noodles were clumped together, broth was okay, not much depth to it, and served with mint instead of basil, which is wrong and probably because mint is cheaper… We ordered Roti bread which we waited 30m minutes for, when we came to ask where it was, he apparently didn’t get an order for it and they don’t have any left. After I showed him that we paid for the order, he said he could not find the receipt of it in the machine. After a few back and forth, I asked for a refund. He then remembered that there was an order and he said his already given it to us, which he hasn’t. Then he remembered that he never took it out of the microwave to serve to us……. What happened to not having any left? Anyway roti was soggy and chewy at the same time. … horrible. ALSO, rats.
