Excellent service with absolutely beautiful deco and an exciting menu! The cocktails are slightly sweeter than expected, in a small glass without the lovely garnish / setting which was a slight disappointment. The chicken pizza had lots of coriander (chopped so finely and even the dressing) which is not mentioned in the menu (I should've checked, but ingredients/ herbs being a dominated component should've been mentioned in the description) gave my body a shock - yummy, but it makes people with low blood pressure very ill and dizzy just after a small slice. Anyone with food allergies need to be aware of it and make sure you check with the staff. Excellent experience and I'm definitely going back again.

What a great place! Found this randomly on a night out, and so glad we stopped! The service was so professional and efficient, it was like being in a Michelin star restaurant, and the atmosphere was cosy and inviting. The starters arrived fast, and were phenomenal (the chicken thigh pieces really were close to perfect!). We couldn't decide on a pizza, so we got a lamb and a cappriciosa, and they were bloody incredible. The slow cooked lamb was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and on the other, the fresh anchovies just made every bite a delight. Thank you so much for such a great meal and experience, I will definitely be back💙

All online comms say they close at 8pm on a Tuesday. Called repeatedly at 7:30 to place an order - no answer. Drove down at 7:50, staff kept ignoring me while I was waiting out the front. Finally opened the door and said “we just closed”. Response to owner: I'd be more concerned about staff ignoring phone orders, then in-person blatantly ignoring and lying to customers. Completely understand being short staffed, but that's no excuse for poor customer service which I feel justifies an "abrupt" one star review.

Ultra small servings, snack size pizza. Do not go here if you would like to be satiated for dinner (unless you want to spend, say $45 plus, for a pizza annnd a side (miiight be enough food then).

-One pizza here, all $26, does not feed one person: I was hungry after eating one pizza to myself. I am a thin 30 something female, normal diet.

Food unsatisfying

-crust super thin and too dry/hard. No real pizza base cover so it was dry to eat, not much topping: I had to really chew and drink water/wine to physically be able to get it down. The hard dry crust hurt the insides of my mouth too.

-the toppings might be interesting and nice flavour combinations, but too dry and very scarce said topping, therefore very unsatisfying. I hardly noticed there was Gorgonzola on my prosciutto and gorgonzola pizza.

I asked for olive oil so I could fathom eating my pizza.

My wine was served with a 0.8mm chunk of cork. This can happen, but didn't help my experience tonight 26 July 2023.

Atmosphere unsatisfying

cold because drafty and not heated enough music very loud (and choice: pop charts annoying at that decible level) loud fan ventilation noises in all spaces lighting very bright. Not relaxing. back door through from toilets was opened at one stage, even colder air in not well heated space. (That is when I got up and left to go home to have a hot shower and eat a hearty supper to recover.)

Unfortunate for a local restaurant. You could be a restaurant that serves a filling, good feed, and be inviting, cozy and warm! Please develop into something nice! You would be such a valuable LOCAL, side street addition to this top of Glenferrie road.

The only thing that brings people here might be the 0$ corkage. Certainly not the food. Or older local couples who don't eat much and need to go somewhere to share their bottle of red?

(Also, side note: the very young staff need to be trained on how to take accountability and offer solutions or condolences for when customers kindly mention something that could be improved. I was gentle and kind to mention the cork chunk in my wine. Also that I was quite hungry and the pizza was dry. The response was oh sorry.)

I look forward to you improving your services. I would like to support local and have a proper...

Entire evening was a disappointment. Was the Armadale location NOT Claremont Street

Started with booking not being recorded but we had the sales associate name Had to ask after 10 - 15 mins if we could order Had to ask for a drink for child. At no time during meal did staff ask "would you like any other drinks" Had to ask to place an order for dessert Forgot child's dessert order Adult order - asked for ice-cream, given about 8 choices then a 500 gm tub was brought out for one person When queried, why did you bring out a tub "oh we dont offer ice-cream" but they offered 8 choices when we asked. Apparently kids get ice-cream and a scoop comes with 3 dessert choices Pizza luke warm and under cooked did not put dessert cost on bill, i queried they guy had no idea

The produce is good and staff friendly but they do not have a handle of customer service. it was a Monday night and restaurant not full I like hot well cooked pizza This is one of less than 5 times i have posted a...

The place might be good but the humanity is dead. I was doing uber eats for some extra money and was on road for hours when I went to pick pizza from this place I politely asked if I could use their restroom and was immediately replied with a rude no, the wash room is for dine in people only! I understand that restaurant wash room is for people who visit it, but as uber driver we are also providing a service and we don't have much option when we are driving rather than use the restaurant washroom, the staff is extremely racist and rude.

In 2023, and a developed country like Australia this is one of the very few times I've come across places where humanity is dead but claim to serve good food.

What is the point of having a restaurant who acts like they are very posh and glam but doesn't know how to treat people who provide basic service on a...
