We had an amazing Father's Day celebration at @taikoonchapel a hidden gem with a 4.9-star rating on Google! This branch may be just 10 months old, but it’s the 4th location for Taiko Sushi—proof that they know their sushi game. Upon arrival, you're warmly greeted by the friendly staff and guided through a charming passageway into an open dining space at the rear. The standout feature? A stunning cherry blossom tree at the centre of the room, surrounded by Japan street-themed decor and comfy benches adorned with Japanese art, creating a truly immersive experience.
What really sets Taiko apart is the exceptional service. The attentive and friendly staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Even when we were too full to order separate desserts, they surprised us by adding an extra scoop of ice cream to our kids’ order, ensuring no one missed out—a true testament to their thoughtfulness!
Taiko is a fantastic spot for families, offering not just delicious Japanese cuisine but also an atmosphere that makes dining special. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a treat in a cozy, mid-range setting. Five stars for the food, ambience, and outstanding customer service!

The karaage (Japanese fried chicken) was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside – super flavorful without being too salty. Everything was well-balanced and felt thoughtfully prepared.
Service was friendly and attentive, and the location is super convenient right on Chapel Street. Highly recommend this place if you're a Japanese food lover – definitely a spot I’ll...
