I love this bakery! My partner and I checked it out shortly after it first opened a few months ago, and it quickly became our weekend go-to! Like literally the other day, we were walking down Sydney rd intending to go for gelato, but after we saw the Happy Bakers sign out the front we decided that we needed a delicious pastry far more than a gelato. Everything is baked fresh on-site and tastes as delicious as it looks! The sandwiches are next level, my favourite is the breakfast sandwich, closely followed by the prosciutto. What really makes these sandwiches a cut above is the standout quality of their baguettes- freshly baked, soft and fluffy on the inside, lightly crispy on the outside...they are absolute perfection! Their pies are also amazing and very filling! I've tried the curry pie and the cheese and bacon this far and both have been super tasty! Good coffee! Great staff with fast and friendly service! The wooden seats are comfortable, but limited, however this isn't too much of an issue as the Princes park is a 3 min walk away. If you are lucky enough to get a seat, you get to see the bakers work their magic right in...
Read moreNew Baker offering tasty bread, savoury and sweet treats. The Good Bakers has recently opened on Sydney Road, near Brunswick Road (opposite the 24hr gym for folk who know that stretch of Sydney Road). Brunswick is spoilt for bakers; many have their preferred supplier; the Good Bakers are recommended. There are tables for eat-in, and you can watch products being made. Display cases show the various cakes and sandwiches, with breads in baskets behind the counter. Pies and pasties and sausage rolls are in the warmer. I've visited a few times and am slowly trying different products. To date have had the sour-dough bread - very tasty, the croissant - light and flaky with almost a sweet taste, Portuguese tart - delicious and a friand - also delicious. So far, The Good Bakers are scoring well. The staff have been friendly and with a smiling face. As I try more products, will provide updates. The Good Bakers open early - 6am on Tuesdays-Saturdays and 7am on Sundays. The Good Bakers are...
Read moreThis is a very impressive bakery that is clearly staffed by passionate bakers. Even calling it a bakery feels like underselling it - the quality of the fillings like the meats, cheeses, fruits are super high quality.

I wish the business was about 300m north of where it is, but it does make it the best place to grab your picnic items before heading to...
