I love this bakery! My partner and I checked it out shortly after it first opened a few months ago, and it quickly became our weekend go-to! Like literally the other day, we were walking down Sydney rd intending to go for gelato, but after we saw the Happy Bakers sign out the front we decided that we needed a delicious pastry far more than a gelato. Everything is baked fresh on-site and tastes as delicious as it looks! The sandwiches are next level, my favourite is the breakfast sandwich, closely followed by the prosciutto. What really makes these sandwiches a cut above is the standout quality of their baguettes- freshly baked, soft and fluffy on the inside, lightly crispy on the outside...they are absolute perfection! Their pies are also amazing and very filling! I've tried the curry pie and the cheese and bacon this far and both have been super tasty! Good coffee! Great staff with fast and friendly service! The wooden seats are comfortable, but limited, however this isn't too much of an issue as the Princes park is a 3 min walk away. If you are lucky enough to get a seat, you get to see the bakers work their magic right in...

New Baker offering tasty bread, savoury and sweet treats. The Good Bakers has recently opened on Sydney Road, near Brunswick Road (opposite the 24hr gym for folk who know that stretch of Sydney Road). Brunswick is spoilt for bakers; many have their preferred supplier; the Good Bakers are recommended. There are tables for eat-in, and you can watch products being made. Display cases show the various cakes and sandwiches, with breads in baskets behind the counter. Pies and pasties and sausage rolls are in the warmer. I've visited a few times and am slowly trying different products. To date have had the sour-dough bread - very tasty, the croissant - light and flaky with almost a sweet taste, Portuguese tart - delicious and a friand - also delicious. So far, The Good Bakers are scoring well. The staff have been friendly and with a smiling face. As I try more products, will provide updates. The Good Bakers open early - 6am on Tuesdays-Saturdays and 7am on Sundays. The Good Bakers are...

This is a very impressive bakery that is clearly staffed by passionate bakers. Even calling it a bakery feels like underselling it - the quality of the fillings like the meats, cheeses, fruits are super high quality.

· The coffee is well-prepared and they have a nice blend that's on the Italian side with fruity notes. · The pastries vary from simple and tasty (big squishy cinnamon donuts) to interesting and indulgent (nutella and pistachio croissant). · They recently reduced the size of their focaccias, and their price, which I think was a good move because the originals were extremely large (and a little pricey). · The pies are awesome and they do take-home packs

I wish the business was about 300m north of where it is, but it does make it the best place to grab your picnic items before heading to...

Happy Bakers in Brunswick offers a delightful array of baguette sandwiches. The chicken schnitzel sandwich was tasty and filling, while the prosciutto option did not disappoint. Although we didn't sample any pies, we did try the pain au chocolat for a sweet ending. It was okay, but the pastry lacked the flaky, crispy quality one might expect from French-inspired baking, it was on the softer side. Seating inside the bakery is limited, so we ended up standing while we ate. Despite this, the service was excellent, adding a positive touch to our overall experience at Happy Bakers. If you're in the area and looking for a quick sandwich fix, it's a decent spot to consider.

📍@thehappybakers_brunswick, Brunswick This was our second visit to The Happy Bakers in Brunswick since they opened, and we were so happy to try a few more items this time 😍 They have a massive range of pastries, pies, breads, and sandwiches baked fresh everyday, they also serve some great coffee ☕️ The highlights for us were the Chicken Jerlsberg Cheese (big enough to feed 2), the Mushroom and Chunky Beef Pie (delicious gravy and loaded with beef) and the Matcha Pistachio Croissant (super flaky, super creamy) 🤤 What we ordered: 🍄 Mushroom and Chunky Beef Pie $7 🥪 Chicken Jerlsberg Cheese $15 🥧 Portuguese Tart $7.5 🥐 Matcha Pistachio Croissant $8.5 🍕 Spanakopita $7

Great range, great prices, however where is the originality? Messaged them on instagram regarding their similarities to a bakery in Essendon TOO GOOD BAKERS, but they denied such allegations. Their decor previously (has changed a bit now), range of pastries, even their “Taylor’s Danish” is Too Good’s chef name. If I’m really going to have to compare pastry taste, TOOGOOD BAKERS texture is superior in all realms. Pastry at the happy bakers is a bit on the drier end, fillings are good though. Unfortunately I do not support bakeries that copy. Staff are super nice, but hope the original bakery gets some credit or recognition.
