This review is very mixed for me. The cafe was cute, it gave off retro diner vibes. The waitress who greeted us and took our order was lovely. She unfortunately put the order through wrong so we were missing some additions to our breakfasts. The coffee was good, the food was delicious and it all came out quite promptly.. One of our party found short black hairs in their food, not 1 but 3. As you can see in the photo, they didn't finish their meal because they experienced a sudden loss of appetite. Upon paying for our meals we politely informed the woman behind the counter what had been found in the food. She looked over to the chef and said "the chef doesn't have hair though" (he was bald), to which my response was "but he has eyebrows" and probably lots of other body hair now that I think of it. There was no sympathetic apology or an offer for a discount or anything of sort, just a toneless "sorry about that".
This place has the potential to be fantastic, however there are a few things that need to...
Read moreI had ordered an omelette lot with sourdough bread. The bread was burnt and was the half the size of my palm. Parts of the bread were chipped off which made it looks half eaten. The cafe said it was given to them like that. Over that , they toasted it so much that it was hard as a rock. May be that was also the manufacturers fault. The lady then went on blaming the delivery guy saying it must have taken time causing the bread to so hard. But I have ordered similar items from other places n always received good quality bread. She then had the audacity to tell me that if I live close by, I should pick up the order or dine in to enjoy a better experience. Overall, she never accepted her mistake and instead blamed everyone else. Never ordering from here again. Not recommending anyone to...
