Really good dumplings here, actually! Service is very friendly & polite, very different from your typical Chinese restaurant! Food -You must order the pan fried buns, they are filled with so much juice they come bursting out! This is an indication of the perfect juicy dumpling..! -the pan fried dumplings itself probably the most average unfortunately, uniquely handwrapped thats for sure, but unfortunately no bursting juices.. -Truffle fried rice was amazing! However, size was relatively smaller side for the price you pay Value Overall, the whole menu is more expensive than it should be eg. In the menu photos, it shows 12 pieces of dumplings, for $12 or so, but in reality you only get 6 pieces for $12, quite misleading. The fried rice and dumplings all in general is above average price and unfortunately, probably not worth it considering the lack of ambience or atmosphere in the restaurant. Ambience -Literally zero. You will come into a more than expensive Chinese restaurant, however it will be pure silence, no music, no BGM, nothing. Pretty awkward as restaurant is small and you'd have to whisper to not have your conversations overheard. Not an issue for us, but it is something to bear. Overall 4/5 would recommend as friendly service and the buns are amazing!

Dumplings were DELISH, I opted for the prawn & chive & the Xiao Long Bao with their sparkling passionfruit drink and all of it was perfection, their chilli oil is great too. I wish I’d gone with friends so I could’ve sampled more of the menu, but two serves of dumplings was enough but will define our return. Staff were lovely, it’s an order at the counter, get a number for your table & help yourself to soy, vinegar, chilli oil, chopsticks & dishes scenario which makes it easy & it’s the perfect place to visit before a show at Her Majesty’s. Just do it, you won’t be disappointed.

Not recommending to anyone at all! Had dinner here an hour before their closing time, and we were asked to transfer from one table to another because their staff had cleaned the area, but when a group of other people came and sit on that area, they weren't asked to move. Quite disappointed in how they rejected an Asian mother and daughter to eat, claiming that they're close but allowed others to order and eat there. Dumplings are too watery inside, knowing that it's pork. We definitely regret trying this one

Went there a few days ago (September 1st) for dinner with the family. We ordered a few dishes at first and paid. Then ordered more after a while, and when I went to pay I asked if there was more food that was yet to come from the previous order. Due to language gap, they misunderstood and amongst themselves got confused as to whether they had brought out the other dishes - this led to them serving us another round of dumplings (2 plates) by mistake. We didn't pay attention to this and accepted the food, UNTIL the owner/manager came to our table with a waiter and started taking the dumplings from the 2 plates that were uneaten, put them on another plate, all to serve them to another customer because the kitchen had closed and they messed up the order. To my shock, I argued this but they decided to ignore me and pretend they don't understand english!!!!!!! This is disgusting, serving someone's half eaten food to another customer - never going there again and recommend others not to either - who knows if the food is fresh or someone's half...

Yummy food and good value for money, but no consideration of the customers is taken.

There was very little customer interaction and cutlery, sauces etc. was self-serve (but we weren’t even told where it was and had to find this ourselves). I didn’t mind this, but I can see how it could put some people off.

My real complaint is that my friend who I was dining with asked at the start of the meal if anything included peanuts (as she is anaphylactic) and was told “no”. However, as she began eating her final dish, she realised she was having an allergic reaction. Luckily, it was only mild (ie: the dish may have just contained traces of peanuts), however I can’t help thinking our night may have gone very differently if she didn’t catch it within the first couple bites. We didn’t complain, we just left, but based on other reviews I doubt we would have been effectively...
