Came on here after reading all the reviews to put a different spin. I entered the cafe 30 mins before closure. Some lights were already off and the kitchen looked clean for shut down. Nevertheless, the owner had no issues restarting everything for our order and we had a super lovely conversation, while my food was preparing. Thank you. Now the food was a mixed experience. Chicken mince spring rolls were great, but those were meant to be just appetisers for the main dish - pho. That was a let down in many ways unfortunately. The broh is ... beef soup? The meat was chewy and sat there for a while. Greens where just cut cabbage. Quite pricey - $56 for two phos and 2 portions of spring rolls. More like the Sydney-Brisbane price. Surprisingly delicious. New in town so I was unsure what to expect. Rang through for 4 rice paper roll - 2 prawn, 2 pork phone order to pick up in 10mins. It was so fresh and so delicious. Really nice balance of vermicelli, veg and king prawns! Not even in Sydney had I tasted such delicious rice paper rolls. Thank you very much and I look forward to trying new dishes...
