I've dined at this restaurant on multiple occasions, and while the food is generally satisfactory, it tends to be a bit on the pricier side. However, what truly frustrated me were my recent experiences with their seating arrangements.

During a previous visit, my group of three requested a booth, but we were informed that booths were reserved for parties of four or more, which was understandable.

On my most recent visit, I went the extra mile and made a reservation for four people, even calling ahead to request a booth specifically. The restaurant assured me that our request would be accommodated. However, upon arriving, we were told that our seating had been changed. I initially assumed there might have been a sudden influx of larger groups, so I reluctantly accepted the change, despite noticing several empty six-person tables throughout the restaurant.

To my dismay, those large tables remained unoccupied throughout our meal. What truly irked me was when a couple walked in (just two people) and requested a booth, which they were promptly given.

This inconsistency in their seating policy left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. It may seem like a minor issue, but it significantly impacted my overall dining experience. Due to this recurring problem, I've decided not to return to this restaurant...

Went here for dinner Wednesday the 16th of December. It was reasonably quiet when my partner and I arrived with a total of 4 tables occupied including mine. 2 of the other 3 tables had also already had their mains or finished eating completely. We ordered within 5 minutes of sitting down including 1 entree, 2 pasta mains and 2 soft drinks. The entree arrived within a reasonable amount of time, about 15 minutes. Meanwhile we still had not received our drinks until we had to ask after 30 minutes of waiting. After we had finished our entree, we had to wait another 45 minutes or so until our mains arrived. Long before our mains arrived, there was no one else seated at the restaurant. The food was pretty average and the service was horrendous. The 3 waitresses that were working there were constantly distracted or preoccupied with something else, either talking with passers by, eating or just generally standing around talking while there were dirty tables and plates to be cleaned, even while we hadn't...

Fantastic food, homemade real delicious Pizza, Pasta's and more. Value for money. Great, grat Arancini!! Quite a busy place which is always indicative of a successful restaurant. Junk box, red & White vintage vibe. My only and this is personal preference of mine in eating out in the evening: it was way too brightly lit up for me which was relates to shockingly stark! Certainly it would be a put off for dating types. The joke box location was unfortunate that there isn't a spot some more centred for all patrons to enjoy at the same volume. It is BYO. I didn't research how long they've been there which would have impacted my low atmosphere review as they could have the vision for uplifting the decor but not the budget yet. Lower lighting, some greenery throughout alone would make a big difference to the evening ambience. Overall, definitely #1 for Italian in CBD. Very worthwhile supporting their...

Customer service is probably the worst I've seen in a really long time. "Table service" however, other than taking our meal orders didn't check on us once, offer drinks nothing. There was a blonde lady serving us who wouldn't have raised a smile if you tickled her, she genuinely looked like she hated every second of being there. Interrupted our meal that we received after a nearly 45 minute wait, to ask for a toilet key, that she could've just grabbed from the other side. Asked us to pass her our dirty plates, just plain odd. Saving grace was the food, so yummy and fresh, good value for money however the terrible customer service overshadowed it, won't rush back.

I was a bit skeptical due to the large amount of tables inside the pizzeria where nobody was sitting and eating, mostly people were coming to pick up the orders. By the end of the dinner, some more people came in to eat as well. Pizza was veeery delicious actually and I was pleased by the taste and dough was nice as well. We had ricotta + balsamic + ham (i believe was called Vesuvio). Luckily this pizzeria was working, in the “city of ghosts” as I like to say, most of places were closed at 17:00,18:00😟
