Had a most disturbing experience at this cafe this morning. Our group of 5 included my friend's wife who has dementia, and was having trouble holding her cup of coffee steady. Her husband was trying to get the waitress to replace her ceramic cup with a paper cup & in doing so used his hands to illustrate the shape of a cup. The young waitress then accused him of using an obscene gesture to her, calling him rude & telling him to stop offending her with his hand movements. We were appalled - and left immediately. I returned a couple of hours later to tell the manager what had happened. The waitress was there & denied everything. I told her she was a disgrace & should not work in a customer-focused business. All the staff members at Nannina's are so hospitable and very attentive to your needs. You can always trust that they will take care of you while dining here - honestly the best service you'll find. The food is also great! I love what they have to offer on their menu - they've got the typical cafe items but they've also got a few different and unique items too. I've tried a variety of the items on their menu and everything I've tried is amazing. I usually like to sit outside as the cafe is situated in on a quiet and peaceful street. One of the waitresses could not have been ruder asking us to move tables as they were likely to have an influx of customers to use the table we were sitting at. It doesn’t take much to use the word please or ask customers nicely. It was also interesting to see that no one used the table whilst we drank our coffee as we decided to have breakfast at another venue. We will never go back there again.
