They need to charge people less if they get takeaway because I swear the only thing worth the rediculous prices is the restaurant itself, the food is the same as you can get at any burger shop but just costs like a ton more, I paid over twenty dollars for a small handful of onion rings, small thickshake and three overcooked dry a** tenders that were TINY like actually TINY, $8.50 bucks for three!? I though okay thats not that bad.. Yeah nah not when theyre half the size of any other tender anywhere else omg what a rip off its actually gross how small they are and bland for that price, not even seasoned, and the girl didn't ask if I wanted a large shake which I did! but she didn't ask even though I didnt specify size I just said a shakw but then she asked the next guy if he wanted a large shake when he ordered one and by that point I was already drinking it, which is super disappointing because its the thing that I walked in there for, I only wanted a snack maybe spend like 17 at most, this wasn't even worth that though. You can see in the photos I was essentially scammed out of like 24 bucks. 😂

Visited the Manly location on 7//3/24 and thought we would order the $37 date night deal advertised outside the store, could not find it in the app so went inside to enquire how to order it ... The girl behind the counter had no idea so asked a manager, manager's response "Oh, that was last months deal", without any offer to honour the deal, show any customer service skills or even give a damn, we were just told to order from the menu, that $37 deal then became a $65 regular priced order. I attempted to contact Bettys Burgers head office and have been completely ignored, can't say i'm surprised as customer satisfaction isn't high on the priority list. Well, as the cost of living starts to bite and people start cutting back, may the poor customer service shine through and others choose to boycott your chain of restaurants as I will be in the future. Very basic burgers and mediocre fries, my first and last time at this establishment.

Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at Betty's Burgers, a haven for burger enthusiasts that left an indelible mark on my taste buds. From the moment I walked in, the enticing aroma of sizzling patties set the stage for a mouthwatering experience.

🍔 Burger Bliss: Betty's Burgers truly lives up to its reputation. The menu offers a range of burger options, from classic to creatively crafted ones. I opted for their signature "Betty's Classic" and was blown away by the tender beef patty, complemented by a perfect balance of lettuce, tomato, and special sauce. Each bite was an explosion of flavors that transported me to burger heaven.

🍟 Fry Perfection: No burger experience is complete without the perfect side of fries. Betty's delivers with their crispy shoestring fries, lightly seasoned and served piping hot. The fries were the ideal companion to the main event, adding a delightful crunch to every bite.

🥤 Thirst Quenchers: To wash down the deliciousness, I tried one of their hand-spun shakes. The creamy concoction was a decadent treat, with a variety of flavors to choose from. It was the cherry on top of an already indulgent meal.

🍦 Sweet Closure: As if the meal wasn't enough, I couldn't resist trying their dessert. The creamy soft-serve ice cream, crowned with colorful sprinkles, provided a sweet ending to an exceptional dining experience.

🏝️ Atmospheric Escape: The restaurant's beachy and vibrant ambiance added to the overall enjoyment. It felt like a mini vacation, with the ocean-themed decor and cheerful staff creating a welcoming environment.

🌟 Pros: Delectable range of burger options Crispy and flavorful shoestring fries Indulgent hand-spun shakes Charming and lively atmosphere

👎 Cons: Limited seating during peak hours

📣 Final Verdict: Betty's Burgers is more than just a restaurant; it's a culinary journey that satisfies all the senses. With its mouthwatering burgers, scrumptious sides, and delightful shakes, it's a destination for anyone seeking burger perfection. Whether you're a burger aficionado or simply looking for a memorable dining experience, Betty's Burgers is a must-visit.

Remember, this review reflects my personal experience and preferences. Your own visit to Betty's Burgers might offer a different perspective, so I encourage you to try it out and savor the flavors...

8/11 You guys need to getting a better eftpos system rather than trying to make customers pay twice. Today I was asked to pay twice even though my internet banking clearly showed the payment. When I made the payment I watched the eftpos machine say approved before I walked away. 5 mins later a staff member came out to say it hadn’t gone through so on my way back in I checked my bank And the payment was there. The transaction was pending which is not unusual. Most people often have pending payments for transactions which clear in the days afterward. 2 more staff members came out to tell me in front of other patrons “no it hasn’t gone through - if it’s pending it’s not paid” (rubbish) The final one was a guy trying to intimidate me and making it seem like I was dodgey because I didn’t want to pay for my food twice!! I chose not to and went to another vender nearby. Used the same card. No issues with payment at all. And when I check my internet banking now that payment is pending too. The reality is banks don’t process eftpos immediately. Get a better payment system or you will lose a lot of customers because paying twice and coming back in a few days time to get your money back is not good enough. In fact it’s dodgey as all get out. I’ll be back in a few days for my money to be returned and then I’ll never darken your doors again. Rascals’ burgers are better anyway.

Cont 11/5: the transaction cleared today and I went in for the refund. Surprisingly, not a word of apology. Instead I got asked if I wanted the food now..? No, I want my money back and I will not return. And then excuses but no apology… none...

My wife and I drove up to Newcastle from Goulburn, as part of our honeymoon trip.

Arriving in Newcastle we decided to check out bettys burgers around 8pm.

Initially we chose to eat-in, however the chairs were uncomfortable and the restaurant music was so loud I could barely hear my wife talking to me. When we went to order our food at the counter we asked if we could move to a seperate table on the opposite side of the restaurant, with a different style of chair, and less noisy.

We were told that side of the restaurant was closed, the staff came across as miserable and disinterested.

We accepted this and sadly decided to get take away food instead, as we had driven 4 hours and were really craving a sit down meal.

While we waited for our food, other patrons were being seated in the area we were told we weren't allowed to sit in, food wasn't too quick either. Staff didn't care about sitting customers in the supposedly closed area, and if it was closed, there was no signage, nor were they asked to move elsewhere. Were we just unwelcome?

Eventually we got our meal and went back to our hotel to find that the sauces in our bag weren't correct and onion rings were soggy and oily

Overall a poor experience, and unwelcoming atmosphere, especially when you drive 4 hours and want to try food that isn't mcdonalds. We wanted to find a burger joint to stop by frequently throughout our honeymoon. We'll keep looking.

At least the food was okay, at best. Not worth...
