I had a pleasant experience at this restaurant. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which added to the overall positive vibe. The food was decent, although it was westernised-Thai which is understandable given the difficulty in finding certain ingredients. The prices were reasonable and appropriate for the quality of food. However, I felt that the restaurant ambiance was a bit overwhelming with a menu that was a bit too saturated and descriptions that were not very relevant to the dishes. The restaurant's name suggests a focus on Northern-style cooking, but the menu seemed quite basic and not very representative of this cuisine. Despite this, I still enjoyed my meal and the service. One suggestion I have is for the man behind the counter to improve his personality a bit.😉 Overall, it was a decent experience, and I would recommend this restaurant to others looking for a casual dining experience.

Ok so I rocked up to this place mid week and it was cold and raining. So needless to say I was the only one in there, so service was great haha! Price is a bit high for my liking of a Pad Thai ($18.90) and they then have a minimum credit card charge of $20 which means you will need to buy at least 2 things from the menu to make it viable for them. A bit unnecessary when dining for one. One star down. The thing that held this restaurant up was the Pad Thai was the best I had eaten in a long time! The dry chilli I ordered on the side was actually hot! So that was welcome on this cold and miserable night. You do get free prawn chips, while a nice touch were very potent. I’ll be back to this for sure.

Friend took us there , it was an unexpected surprise, it was very Thai. The green curry bibimbap is top-notch, the soft-shell crab is crispy and smothered in one bite and the stir-fried pork belly vegetable also great with rice , but the deep fried barramundi and egg fried rice are a bit average. The environment is good, the seats are quite spacious, and the service is always there when you ask for it. Because they are too busy , when we paid the bill, waited for a while .The most important thing in the end is that the price/performance ratio is unbeatable. Highly recommended.

Most horrible, rude and very disrespectful customer service staff in Newcastle. I was given the wrong type of noodles in one of the dishes that I had ordered last night and the waiter refused to take blame for their mistake and was only prepared to remake the dish provided that I agreed to pay for the two dishes, including the unwanted one. At the end I did not opt for the dish to be remade and I refused to pay for the dish that I returned. Left a sour taste and turned our pleasant evening into a horrible one thanks to this rude, vulgar and disrespectful waiter who could have handled the situation more professionally and kept his customers happy. Such a shame that a very simple gesture of good will and good manners was not used by this waiter, and instead he has now given the restaurant a bad name and very low rating, at least in my view. The waiter also refused to give me his name when I said that I was going to complain. Not sure if we will ever return to this restaurant again unless they revisit the way they treat their customers to win back their business. They should also be more explicit and less ambiguous in the description of the dishes listed in their menu to avoid confusion to their customers.

Your response to my honest review is yet another indication of your rude, arrogant, disrespectful and dishonest nature. Clearly you have no idea about how to run a successful business. You could have remade the dish and this way you would have at least gotten some money instead of getting nothing for the wrong dish that you had to throw away. Also, you are the one who informed me about the arrangement with the hotel next door and suggested that I could buy some chips from them for my three year old twins as you did not sell hot chips.

By the way, we have been to your restaurant on numerous occasions not only twice before so you are wrong again in saying this.

Also by the way, I did not abuse your staff as you have stated. I simply refused to pay for the dish that was wrongly made.

Arrogant, ignorant, rude, disrespectful and dishonest are your least attributes that...
