I have regularly purchased the granola bowl and attended today and was advised it had changed, which the addition of a berry compote - however, I was not advised of the drastic increase in price, by approximately $6.00! Not only was I not informed of this I was waiting an extraordinarily long time for a bowl of granola to take-away,..which has happened on a regular basis. I had also purchased a piece of blueberry slice with both items coming to a total of $23.00! - I am more than disappointed at the not only the exorbitant price but the poor unfriendly service and food was sub-par also. I'm sorry to say I won't be walking the extra distance to purchase from here anymore when there are plenty of closer more affordable and tasty options - very disappointing
Further to you response below, as it appears I cannot respond to your reply..I was made aware of additions to the granola - including the berry compote - but not any increase in price, and I did have a colleague with me who will attest to the same - I had always ordered the yoghurt with the granola previously and while you claim to have made it heartier - the serving size was no different and spoonful of yoghurt hardly worth it - just served in a different bowl. The berry compote was nice - but doesn't warrant the extra cost.
I was only advised of the price at payment - again - a colleague was with me that witnessed it.
And while your lengthy response and disingenuous apology below attempts to justify a cost of $23.65 for granola and a piece of Blueberry crumble slice which was soggy and gelatinous, it does little to change the disappointing experience, cost and taste.
Sorry, there will be at least 2 customers not returning or recommending you again
You have in previous responses, described Lynch's Hub as a 'a little hole-in-the-wall takeaway place' with no table service - yet you charge restaurant prices!
I also think your rude and arrogant responses to a number of recent unfavourable reviews in the past months only highlights that you do not value your customer's opinion and really do not take...

Read moreI ordered salmon poke and egg kimchi poke, but they lacked a basic understanding of the menu ingredients.
All of the rice in the poke was cold and hard, so I was suspicious that they were using old rice, and there was nothing in the kimchi poke that could be called kimchi. As a Korean, I know more about our country's food, kimchi, than anyone else, but the kimchi here includes Japanese side dishes, so the two are completely different. The salmon wasn't fresh so it was uncomfortable to eat. I visited with high expectations after reading other people's reviews, but I was so disappointed that I didn't think I would ever visit again. The cafe atmosphere was nice, but they need to understand the poke menu and study and research the basic...
