The food and coffee were absolutely outstanding—truly top-notch! ☕️🍽️ However, the reason Neighbours isn’t getting the full five stars is due to the way the owner spoke to his young staff.

It was a busy morning, and they were clearly doing their best, yet he chose to speak to them in a way that was not only harsh but also incredibly uncomfortable to witness as a customer. It was disappointing to see, and honestly, I’m surprised they put up with it.

To the lovely staff member who took our order and checked in on us—you were wonderful, and we’re so sorry you had to deal with that.

In a time when the hospitality industry is struggling with staff shortages, you should be valuing and supporting your team, not speaking to them like that.

We came to neighbours first about 2 years ago. This morning we went with family. It was different and disappointing. Our main waiter was a man with a short, curt manner who seemed to be continually flustered and disorganised. He let us know we weren't a high priority. I ordered the scrambled eggs. What used to be two slices of toast is now one. The other meals were also smaller than what we've had previously. Bookings seem now to be essential whereas they didn't used to take bookings.
