The Pizza Shop — Restaurant in Port Douglas

Ordered over phone. Service was prompt and spot on re the pick up time. You can dine in but im not fan of plastic furniture so hard pass there. We had 5 different pizzas and garlic bread. I always look at 3 things when buying pizzas and those are : pizza base quality - ingredients used and customer service : in that order. Great base crust - firm and crunchy. Love the bits of polenta they really add that extra to texture that I love. Ingredients as far as I can tell fresh and clean. And customer service was great. I didn’t like the garlic bread but rest of my friends ate it up quickly. Some might find size an issue but trust me they will fill you up. We had leftovers !!( doesn’t happen often with pizzas )

We recently had an unforgettable dining experience at this remarkable pizza shop in Port Douglas. We ordered the 'Mitches Special' and a chicken pizza. Both were simply out of this world. The 'Mitches Special' was a culinary masterpiece, with its expertly crafted base and a tantalising mix of chilli and other flavours that danced on the palate. The chicken pizza was equally impressive, offering a delicious twist cajun chicken and mango jam.

The service at this place was just as amazing as the food - The fantastic playlist in the background enhanced the whole experience, making us wish to stay all night.

What stood out was how these pizzas held up the next day. Having the leftovers for lunch, we were amazed to find them as mouthwatering as they were the night before. Very disappointed with the service. We have contacted this pizza place via email, Facebook message, text and by phone multiple times with no response at all over the past few weeks. When we finally got through via phone to ask if they would be open in 2 weeks time and would be able to take a large order of pizzas for a gathering we are having, the person on the phone was extremely abrupt telling us ‘how would they know what they are doing in 2 weeks time’ and ‘we need to call back when they aren’t busy’ before hanging up. Totally understand it may have been a busy time, however this was handled terribly especially considering we have tried contacting them via multiple platforms, multiple times and have had no response.
