My friend and I had two almond lattes here, first of all as I got there, I had to wait for a table and no one approached me to ask if I would need a table. I approached one of the staff and asked if we could get a table in the shade. This can be forgiven, although most of the cafes would ask if you are looking for a table or you would like a menu.
Also, no one wiped our table despite the fact that we sat down once the previous customers left, so again we had to approach the staff for this.
the coffees weren’t quite strong so I communicated this with one of the wait staff who was standing next to the baristas, I mentioned that the almond milk is overpowering the shots. Could you please change this. The girl came back and said that the barista just added an extra shot. Common practice and having been to numerous cafes, barista will make a fresh coffee, from the get go, especially when it comes to plant based milk you just don’t add an extra shot. That will affect the consistency and the texture of the milk.
Anyways, I decided to take my cup back and asked the barista if she could make me one more, fresh one, she got my mug, looked upset, took it away to the sink and made a loud noise to express her dissatisfaction as if we have rejected her. What a loud noise! You wouldn’t treat customers like that just disrespectful and rude.
The second round was reasonably good, so I decided to find out who the owner is and express my experience. Matt behind the machine was approachable with a smile on his face, I mentioned that I didn’t enjoy my experience, there was no mention of we are sorry or acknowledgment. Then the rude barista walked in and she said she is the owner too!
I just simply replied then you don’t take away customer’s mug like that creating a loud noise to express your anger. How do you think she handled this? She had a smile on her face! Rude and not good at all.

Read moreOh, what an accidental discover. We visited Port Macquarie for our anniversary and just searched for a good coffee place, we parked our car on Murray Street, just next to this cafe. But we were actually heading towards a different one. There we didn't find many options to munch in with coffee, we said let's head towards Studio 3, they had good options. And from coffee perspective it wasn't a wrong decision at all. In fact we loved it so much that in the 4 days trip all the coffees we had was from this cafe. Banana Bread and Coconut Mango Cruffin. And we left Port Macquarie after a brunch and how delicious the Pesto Grilled Chicken Toastie it was. Thanks Guys for the wonderful coffee and food. Must Visit...
