Latte’s & Cake Crumbs Cafe — Restaurant in Queensland

I stopped here today on a whim, having a few hours to spare. I first ordered a coffee, which was exceptional. As I drank my coffee I watched the interactions of the staff and customers and noted that each customer was greeted like family, and time was taken to chat and listen. The staff took turns serving, and seemed to genuinely love their job. The atmosphere was relaxed and happy. I was inspired to stay for a meal, as I was feeling so comfortable and cheery in the atmosphere. I ordered a big breakfast, and I was so impressed by everything about the meal. The presentation was exceptional, the food was cooked to perfection and delicious. The plate had these beautiful house made drizzles, which were both pretty to look at and complementary flavours to my meal. I was just so impressed by the whole experience! Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience today. I wish I lived close enough to make this my daily cafe stop. I will certainly make the effort to stop in whenever...

Unfortunately, if I could rate this a 0... I would! What an absolute disaster. I chose this cafe because of their raving reviews. I don't know if they were just having a bad day, or the reviews are flawed... but it was THE WORST experience my family and I have ever had! Our meals took 50mins to come out... and even then, we waited an extra 15mins and I still didn't receive my meal. The fella was regretful and apologetic, and I was appreciative that they refunded a large portion of our meal... but the damage was done! My family and I are lucky to have lunch out together perhaps every 6 months. It really put a downer on our Mother's day weekend away. Very clean, nice sunlit location right in the centre of town.

Stopped in town after a day trip to biddeston on my way back to the GC... Had my pup with me and they let me sit outside with my dog tied up and gave me a bowl of water, it was so nice and welcoming.

I ordered bacon and egg roll with fries and it did not disappoint! I was extremely satisfied with the service all round.

Fast service, good food- the taste and presentation were great and the staff were awesome! If Ace and I are ever back in town we will stop in again to say hello!
