In this review... view, food quality, vegan, wait staff, speed of service, price, atmosphere.
Having ordered falafel kebab as my usual for any Turkish style kebab, I can only comment on the vegan dish, which was of an acceptable, not very noteworthy kebab. It was filling and for the location the price is reasonable to higher.
The staff were friendly, however my order did take a while... which gave me time to observe the staff... unfortunately I was shocked as to the hygiene.
At least three of the staff (there was a lot going on to monitor them all), were eating with gloves on, then proceeding (in the same gloves) to handle cooking utensils, touch customer orders, handle money and touch food being prepared.
I was closely watching my order and I was unfortunately one of the victims of this process.
I am shocked that staff are: A) allowed to eat in the meal prep area B) allowed to eat in front if the customers in the prep area C) not washing hands D) not changing gloves between stages of meal prep or customer service.
Adanos Grill does seem to have a visually clean set up, however I will not be eating here again, if you follow me, you would know this is not something I say too often.
I hope reviews are taken seriously, especially in this case.
If you are reading this and considering giving Adanos Grill the benefit of the doubt, then I advise you to just stand and watch, if they have improved, then order and enjoy at your own risk.
Should the practise still be for the staff to eat, while wearing gloves, around cooked and uncooked food, then pick another establishment inside the food court.
The atmosphere of the food court is typical, lots of people, movement, smells and sounds... if you have sensory difficulties or have a child with this issue, I would avoid until after 1330 when it is beginning to...

My cousins went here to eat over the weekend.
They thought they could try to rip us off, as they most likely thought we were intoxicated due to us eating out late at night on a weekend.
Unlucky for them, we were just staying at the hotel and were craving for a midnight snack.
We ordered ONE (1) chicken snack pack, ONE (1) FANTA soft drink & ONE (1) V energy drink. I was shocked to find my bill racking up roughly $41.
Luckily a receipt was provided when we received our food.
I noticed on the receipt that I was charged an additional THREE (3) bottles of coca cola, which I never ordered, costing me an extra $13.50
I went back to get a refund and the cashier (who served us at the counter) started blaming another worker, saying that the other worker must of pressed it wrong?
Please tell me, how did the other worker (who did NOT even serve us) manage to press the same drink wrong THREE (3) times? A drink we never ordered.
Also, if you're at the counter pressing the buttons, how did the other worker (who did NOT serve us) manage to press it wrong?
Did he use telepathy to communicate to you? Are you guys aliens?
You are a dishonest business and you should be ashamed of yourselves.
I had a 13 year old cousin with me, who for the first time, probably learnt how deceptive humans can be.
I am glad, however, that I taught him to always CHECK...
Read moreGotta be honest, as an "out of towner" visiting for the day, I thought a Sydney kebab shop would smoke my local kebab shop 3 ways and sideways. Not even close. Pricing was fine, I expected to pay an extraordinary amount considering the location, food was served fast considering the same. The 2 blokes working there very obviously don't want to be there as they both looked miserable and didn't care much for any pleasantries or even compliments on how quick they were. Food was mediocre at best, not an even filled kebab at all, full in the middle 3rd, very tiny at each end of the other 2/3rds. Tasted off, or something was wrong. Both of us threw them in the bin after a couple of mouthfuls as we didn't want to be rushing to the bathroom wasting our very expensive show tickets in the process. Shop was well presented though, and the fresh cooking meat over the coals certainly gave us the impression we would be getting a quality kebab. Not to be unfortunately. Thankfully it didn't cost a fortune which we expected it would being at that location. Would rather pay twice the price and have a quality product wi friendly...
