I got a traditional pork roll from here the other week. It was bad. Tasted just like a salad roll. Wouldn’t have known it was Vietnamese due to lack of flavour.

So…I sent a Vietnamese friend of mine to order in the Vietnamese language to see if they’d serve him/her the same disappointing roll.

Yep, my friend ended up with a traditional pork roll which Included lettuce and tomato (not traditional), lack of meat, lack of flavour, lack of pate, lack of pickled vegetables. My friend described it as ‘watery’ in taste.

The reviews on here seem suspect. Five star reviews and for a lot of them, that’s the only Google review they’ve ever given. Maybe friends/family of this shop trying to boost sales????...

As a regular customer, I find the combination of meat, vegetables, and sauce in Banh Mi quite enjoyable. The flavors work well together, offering a fresh and delightful experience. The staff’s attitude was unacceptable. In particular, the girl working on Sunday was extremely slow and showed clear disrespect, especially towards non-Vietnamese customers. I also overheard staff speaking negatively about customers in Vietnamese, which is highly unprofessional and inappropriate.

Additionally, the quality of the food was poor. The bread served was cold and not crunchy at all. I had even mentioned that I was willing to wait for freshly made bread, yet I was still given old stock. On top of that, the portion size was noticeably small.

On top of that, I witnessed a serious hygiene issue: one of the staff members was handling food with bare hands, without wearing gloves. This is extremely unhygienic...
