Probably the worst Betty's burgers in Sydney, just look at the reviews and stars for this one compared to the others for starters - waste of time and money.

I ordered through the online website just before 11:30 to pick up my order at 11:45. I arrived and waited in line only to be told to go to the pick up area. So I go to the pick up area and the guy asks what I ordered, he can't see it and says it'll be a couple of minutes. Not a problem there, but then I see people ordering their food and getting theirs before me. Meanwhile, I'm awkwardly standing in the small and crowded pick up area unacknowledged.

By this time, it's already 12pm so I go up to the main counter again and ask where my food is. They tell me to go back to the pick up area but I told them no, I've already gone there and show them my order again. Then they actually look at my order number this time to troubleshoot why my order is not ready rather than brushing me off to other people. They realise that my order wasn't even being made. I understand mistakes happen but they didn't even apologise or offer compensation and just told me I needed to wait another 5-10 minutes. At this point, I've now waited over 30 minutes for just 2 burgers and fries, which all could have been avoided if my order was actually checked properly in the first place.

This was a significant waste of time for someone who pre-ordered so they wouldn't waste their short lunch break. In the end, I didn't even get to enjoy my food as I had to go back to work. This particular Betty's burger franchise really needs to pick up their game because I'm highly unlikely to come back...

I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received during my recent order via Uber Eats. My husband and I ordered two burgers and milkshakes, but upon receiving our order, we found that two burgers were missing.

Despite attempting to contact the delivery driver, we were unable to reach them. We then called Betty Burger directly, where we were informed that the driver had only taken one bag, missing the other containing the two burgers. We were assured that the matter would be followed up, but despite waiting for 45 minutes, we received no callback.

Repeated attempts to reach Betty Burger were unsuccessful, and when we finally connected with an employee on the seventh call, we were simply advised to contact Uber for a refund. This lack of accountability and disregard for customer service is highly concerning.

It is evident that there was a failure in ensuring the accuracy of our order before it was handed over to the delivery driver. Furthermore, the promise of a follow-up call, which never materialized, only added to our frustration.

As loyal customers, we expect better communication and accountability from Betty Burger. It is imperative that steps are taken to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future, and that customers are treated with the respect and attention...

Heard a few things about Betty’s so I decided to give it a try. The staff who helped me out was very cheerful and friendly. Based on his recommendation, I got a spicy chicken burger and a lemon raspberry cheesecake concrete (they were also on special price, so I paid $7 for the burger and $5 for the concrete). Here’s my feedback on them:

-Lemon Raspberry Cheesecake Concrete I really looked forward to this one since I am a big frozen custard fan and love cheesecake flavour. I was first a little disappointed by the size, thought it was a bit too small, especially considering the fact that the normal price is $8. The concrete also lacked in texture and flavour- the aftertaste was overwhelmingly sweet and not in a pleasant, delicious way. The ginger crumble was a big miss too as it didn’t blend well with the raspberry syrup nor the cheesecakes. Long story short, I probably will not get it again.

-Spicy Chicken Burger I liked the burger better than the concrete. The bacons were too salty and did wash out other flavours but the burger was still edible. Personally, I found the spicy chicken burger here to be better than the one from Ze Pickle, but I still don’t think its worth $15.

4.5 stars for the service (the food only took about 10 minutes to come out) 2.0 stars...

Walking into Betty’s Burgers feels like stepping into a postcard—vintage Aussie surf culture collides with the soul of an American diner. But this isn’t just another nostalgic gimmick. It’s a shrine to the burger, done right and unapologetically indulgent. I’ve found myself at their North Sydney outlet more times than I’d like to admit, and every visit delivers the same comforting truth: they know their craft. The burgers are executed with precision, the flavors bold but balanced, and the prices? Reasonable, considering the quality product they’re delivering. Now, let’s talk about that spicy chicken burger. It’s a masterpiece—crispy, fiery, messy in all the right ways. Pair it with a chocolate peanut butter thickshake that’s so sinfully rich you’ll need to go to confession afterwards. And the sides? Don’t make me choose. Shoestring fries or crispy onion rings? I say go for both. Life’s too short to pick one when Betty’s Burgers is serving up some of the best guilty pleasures on the block.
