My wife and I dropped in for breakfast at 10.00 am this morning for breakfast. Staff are warm and friendly. My wife ordered a toasted, Spinach Feta & Egg Wrap and she enjoyed it immensely. She drank English Breakfast Tea with milk as an accompaniment to the meal. I had Scrambled eggs on toasted sourdough with a good amount of button mushrooms, washed down with a delicious, single shot, large, soy (Grounds) Cappuccino. I really enjoyed the generous serving of eggs and mushrooms and the crusty sourdough bread with Lurpak Butter. We both enjoyed the taste and size of our meals and our beverages. I love the food here however, this store must have had a change of ownership or management. The normal enthusiastic and friendly welcome I've always got was replaced with sullen sulky employees who look like they'd rather be breaking rocks on a chain gang. 10 minutes to heat up a sausage roll is a big chunk out of a 30 minute lunch break. This type of on the go food should be heated and ready to serve in lunch period. We go there for morning coffee sometimes. Usually pretty good. I got a bacon and egg roll today and it had the longest black hair in it. Normally I understand, but this was quite long and stuck in the food - it was gross. They offered to make me another, but I had lost my appetite.
