Cafe Nho — Restaurant in Sydney

Vietnamese desserts, not always authentic to the style and ingredients you grew up with but a bit modern and adapted and yet not ground breaking but generally a good place to satisfy your sweet cravings with many combinations of sweet desserts. They have varieties of ice creams and cold sweet drinks. I felt like the coconut milk may have been fresh even since I could taste a bit more of the coconut and it had a bit of grated coconut texture on one of those icy desserts. Creme caramel/flan is good textured. Free tea in a cistern to the side. On the downside, the wide open vibe is great during warm days but when the place is exposed and the weather is chilly that's not so great, tables and chairs are plunked around without much thought, it could certainly could be a bit more comfortable if they didn't try to leave...

I was REALLY disappointed, ordering hot coffee with condensed stating less sweet. In fact, the lady putting in the order put in less sweet twice.

I tasted the coffee and it was SO SWEET. I opened the lid and the colour was like white coffee (very light brown colour). I went back and told them it was too sweet to be a less less sweet coffee. The guy insisted that it is 1/3 condensed milk and asked me how sweet I wanted it I said to him 1/5 sweet then and he asked if I want to order a new cup. I replied 'No' and he then said either more water or coffee. He added the remaining espresso in a glass to my coffee. The coffee was still too sweet and I in the end returned the coffee to the counter

Someone at the table behind me started smoking and I asked him politely if he could move out outside to stop the smoke blowing in my face and he got abusive. There are no smoking signs posted on the walls. I then informed the staff to ask him to stop smoking and the staff would not do anything. he became more and more abusive and started insulting me and the person I was having coffee with and the staff refuse to do anything. This is not acceptable behaviour for the staff of the restaurant. They need to make sure that customers obey the no smoking signs which are clearly posted up...
