I ordered the deluxe iced mocha (regular size) And the chicken Burger (no chips) coming to a total cost of $21 The Cafe is clean and nicely arranged with friendly staff. I had originally planned to order the chicken kimchi burger but the fryer was apparently out of order. The grilled chicken burger I got was a good size, the chicken breast was cooked well with a nice gentle seasoning. The salad and bun were both fresh and there was just the right amount of sauce. Nothing fancy but gets everything right for a satisfying burger. The deluxe mocha I ordered based on other reviews, it wasn't as deluxe as I thought it would be but it was decent considering the price. The coffee in the drink was of good quality but the Belgium chocolate I had heard about just tasted like standard store bought powder cacao. Still a really good drink and fair for the price. If I was to make a suggestion to the owner, I would love for dine in customers to get a glass for their cold beverages. I try to dine in at places to avoid plastics and I was dissapointed when the mocha was served in a plastic cup and lid. All cafes are doing this currently so I would love to see a local place have a more sustainable option.
I will be returning to eat and order the mocha again, next time I hope to try their chicken kimchi burger. Please give this cafe a go if you want a relaxing lunch or breakfast spot at...
Read moreWe have been coming to the Cafe over the past few years and came to know the owner (Michelle) quite well.
The Cafe changed hands about a week ago and unfortunately it seems the new owner has no interest in running a quality business.
We were a party of five, two of us received food after ~40 minutes followed by a further 15 minute wait for two more meals and another 10 minutes for the last meal. They quite obviously forgot our drinks orders and only started making them after we asked.
The food quality was ok, definitely not the same as it was previously and several mistakes were made.
Despite sitting down to eat in, some coffees were presented to us in take away cups and others in mugs. One of the bacon and egg rolls came in a take away box and the other on a plate. No napkins or cutlery were brought to our table until one of the servers notices us get up to get napkins.
In terms of service, the lady at the front counter was clearly flustered as other diners were experiencing the same wait times as us and complaining. I feel this led to her having a negative attitude and she was taking this out on us and other waiting, hungry patrons.
I'm not sure we will come back, maybe once the owner has got a grip on their business I might re-review. Hopefully they take this criticism seriously and seek to improve...
   Read moreWorst experience ever.
I had just completed my free drink stamp card when the skinny male staff member told me it had already been used and marked it, even though I hadnât used it yet. He said I could use it next time, so I let it go. That day, I also ordered a normal large latte, which costs $8, but he charged me $8.50 for no reason. Next time I came in, I mentioned that I had been overcharged by 50 cents, but the female staff laughed it off and said, âMaybe you added something extra?â I still paid without arguing, trusting I could use my completed stamp card later. But when I finally tried to redeem the free drink, another bigger male staff member told me it had already been used and I couldnât use it. When I explained what happened, he started questioning meâasking why it was marked if I hadnât used it. Absolutely unacceptable. I felt humiliated and treated like I was trying to get a free drink dishonestly over a few dollars. Is this really how you treat your regulars? Itâs laughable that a business would lose loyal customers over a $5 drink. Despite having stomach issues after drinking your lattes, I kept coming back because of the size. Not anymore....
