Thank you for your reply.
The âapproachâ you are referring to was a simple question that was posed to your âmanagerâ about how our order was going? The fact that I had to get up and ask your Manager this was much more uncomfortable for me as it was for him. Iâm sure!
If waiting half an hour whilst other people are served before you is not uncomfortable. I donât know what is. A simple apology and an explanation about being short staffed wouldâve been fine. There was no attempt at all to check on us in that half hour while we waited so if that was the Managerâs attempt to âamend the situationâ Iâm sorry, but that was a dismal effort.
Iâm happy to discuss this matter with you directly to clarify a few things as it is clear from your response that you are not fully aware of what our experience was like yesterday.
I am not one to make a fuss about things, itâs completely out of my nature to do so, but our experience yesterday was so negative that I felt that you, as a business owner, needed to know to improve this experience for other diners.
If youâre willing to accept some constructive criticism - good old friendly customer service and a genuine care for people wouldnât go astray.
Perhaps these qualities could be integrated into your staff training programs?
Just a thought...
All the best.
Breakfast this morning was a huge disappointment in terms of service. Had to wait half an hour for our food to come out. I had to approach the waiter to find out what was happening as two other groups who were seated after us were served before us. No apology, didnât seem to care at all. Had to wait to pay as well. We were just not looked after at all. The food was great and coffee was amazing. I just would never come back here because of the poor...
Read moreAwful service, rude staff and a rip off - The Trifecta. Would give 0 stars if I was able.
Ordered a takeaway large Skim Chai and a babycino but asked for the babycino to be a larger size than usual. Waitress said they would put it in a small cup. Ok fine, $7, $4.50 for tea and $2.50 for babycino. $2.50 seemed a bit pricey for a bit of milk but ok.
Proceeded to wait over 20 minutes despite the prior order from my friend came last instantly. When it finally came the babycino was in a tiny little cup i.e the standard size despite me ordering a larger babycino. So went back and told them what I ordered. Somehow the order was apparently for just a normal babycino despite the waitress confirming with me they would make it larger and put it in a small cup. Waitress now asks me to pay an additional $2.50 for the larger sized babycino as "it is 2 babycinos". So your charging me $5 for a small cup of milk, when the Chai tea I ordered in a LARGE cup was $4.50. Talk about RIP OFF. I mentioned the fact that it was their stuff up and to ask me to pay an additional $2.50 was a bit rich. Nope, they want me to pull out my card and pay the $2.50. I was in a hurry and I promised my daughter her babycino so I reluctantly paid, but regretted it after.
From this point the waitresses were very rude to me and basically ignored me, not indicating what was going on. After waiting another 5 mins another waitress came and delivered the milk in a very abrupt manner without making eye contact with me or saying anything. You need to learn how to conduct proper customer service, especially when YOU guys were the ones who stuffed up. Train your staff properly. With avoid this place like the plague...
Read moreI donât normally write reviews of places I eat but really thought this was worth mentioning - what a truly forgettable experience. Firstly, the waitperson greeting patrons at the door was cold and unfriendly, not even a simple âHi, welcome! How are you this morning? Do you have a booking today?â. We werenât shown to our table, they simply just pointed and said âYouâre over there.â It was 20 minutes before we were asked we would like any coffees to start, and by then we were ready to order. Thus commenced the waiting game⌠another 50 minutes before our food arrived as we watched tables seated after us receive their food. And keep in mind, it was just myself and my girlfriend dining in and therefore was not a sizeable order.
The waitstaff did not approach our table once to ask us if we needed anything. I noticed that on several occasions the waitstaff walked past and looked at my empty coffee cup and didnât think to either clear it or ask âAre you after another coffee there?â - which I did and had to ask for. I clumsily dropped my fork on the floor and asked if I could please get another and when she returned she rudely threw it on the table without stopping, prongs facing towards me and on the side in which my knife belonged. The food was perfectly fine. The egg in my girlfriendâs burger was so over cooked that poor Mother Hen wouldnât even recognise it. Overall just disappointing.
I think the waitstaff were truly hopeless and as someone who works in hospitality, I have to say that I would strongly suggest they look for another...
