I visited the Domino's store on Wednesday 5th of May at 6:30pm. First thing I witnessed is a young lady who may have been the manager yelling at the poor young staff members. This continued for the gruelling 15 mins I waited for my order. I then saw a delivery guy walk in and he then copped it from her.
It was so unnerving and uncomfortable as it was bullying, plain and simple. She extremely abrupt and you could see every staff member was petrified of her.
Now on to my order.... joint receiving my I noticed that it was completely wrong when I got home. Called the restaurant right away and unfortunately this lady answered the phone and gave me an extremely hard time and questioned my ethics by asking why I hadn’t checked my order before leaving and if I’m sure I didn’t get my order wrong because her receipt stated it was correct. Well I can o my comment on what’s in the box. She then promised me the correct order unwillingly and was quite dismissive. She took my order over the phone and said it be delivered within 15 mins. 45 mins went by, I called the restaurant and spoke with a lively guy by the name Pascal. He advised me that she hadn’t processed and order and there was nothing in the system for me.
Long story short... she got back on the phone and started to question me about my order by barraging me with questions. I felt attached and was made to feel so bad about even considering ordering from Dominos.
Needless to say, in the end she didn’t process the right order nor did she replace my pizzas. She did however organise a driver to come pick up the pizzas and issued me a refund so as pay back, I emptied the pizza boxes and gave them to the driver empty to return back to her.
Dominos, you need to step in and take action against this lady you have running your Redfern restaurant on Redfern St. It is appalling that in this day and age guy have beasts like her running the show making the staff and customers extremely uncomfortable.
This was workplace bullying...
Read moreI would like to congratulate the exceptional customer service I received from the manager of the Domino Redfern store this evening. I made an online order and went to pick it up on the estimated time. When I arrived my order was showed ready on the screen but when I asked I was told it was not ready and then it disappeared on the screen totally. I asked the front counter staff and she said it would be just 3 minutes wait. However, after 25 minutes my order was still not ready. I asked again and told the staff I would like to cancel it if it had not been made. The supervisor/manager stepped in and said our order would be on the house. Although I offered to pay for it but he insisted it would be complimentary from the store. In my opinion he handled this situation exceptionally well as he had showed his store did value its customers. I will definitely order from this store again.
Just an update. I made an order today and I received another excellent customer services again (although from different team members/manager). I highly recommend this store not only for their great service but also the outstanding quality...
Read moreA very reliable dominos experience. I have only ever had 2 complaints with them and they rectified it immediately above and beyond.
The one issue was I ordered onion rings but received baked chips instead and I rang to explain that I received the wrong item which they immediately offered a refund and a beverage of my choice to which I immediately accepted a can of Pepsi Max.
The driver arrived cash in hand and offered me to keep the chips and handed me a 600ml bottle of Pepsi max to which I informed them that I cannot eat potatoes to health reasons and told him he could enjoy the chips on the ride home as they were untouched.
The two issue was we ordered pizza and it arrived as if the driver came directly out of Tokyo drift/initial d, we informed the store that the pizza came in a complete shambles (pictures relevant) and received new pizzas within 20 minutes. Also told we could keep the mistake pizzas which we declined.
Honestly I can comfortably say this is the better dominos...
