New update:As a loyal customer since 2013 recently Lucy & her husband have been very unfriendly treated by both Lucy & her arrogant husband.I wanted to claim my birthday rewards coffee and she made me pay for my coffee twice saying the internet isn't working. First time I went there to claim my birthday rewards coffee I asked politely that I would like to claim my rewards coffee but would pay for the two cinnamon donuts and she rudely told me "pay 80cents for soy milk as I'm dairy intolerant.i had to firm out $8.30 that day. The second day also the same thing happened. They made me fork out $8.30 and I couldn't claim or enjoy my birthday rewards coffee. Her husband was also very verbally offensive & rude. A few times in the past Lucy used to point at my stomach asking me if I was pregnant. I thought she was a nice lady but people do change. Not going there anymore. I'm sure there are other Donut King coffee shops I can go and claim my birthday rewards coffee. Lucy and her husband are both verbally abusive & aggressive humans. Shame on you both. Not going to give you guys business. Ascaloyal customer since 2013 after how they both treated me and made me pay for my coffee twice I should be entitled to two free coffee vouchers for putting me through mental distress. The photos that you see are updated...
Read moreAccompanying my elderly client, we decided to have lunch at food court near Coles. Unfortunately, what should have been a pleasant experience turned sour due to an encounter with one of your female staff members. When my client politely requested a straw to assist with easy consumption of her beverage, the staff member in question displayed a rude and nonchalant attitude.
To my surprise, the employee proceeded to stare at me and made an inappropriate comment insinuating that since I did not spend money with them, my request was not worth their attention. Not only was this response disrespectful, but the situation further escalated when the staff member proceeded to verbally abuse me before leaving the immediate area.
As a patron who values businesses that prioritize customer satisfaction, I find such behavior unacceptable and contrary to the ideals of quality service. It is important for businesses to create and maintain an environment that serves the public respectfully and professionally.
I believe that addressing this matter will not only help maintain your reputation as a customer-centric establishment but also contribute to an inclusive environment where all customers, regardless of their spending patterns, are treated with dignity...
Read moreDonut King is a fabulous place to enjoy a delicious, warm coffee, and a couple of donuts from an extensive range of tasty, sweet food offerings.
The coffee is made to perfection. You can really taste the difference from other cafes. The coffee has the taste of quality coffee beans.
The range of donuts is amazing and they are so tasty and well made.
One outstanding thing I noticed is the cleanliness of this Donut King cafe. Everything is spotless. Many evenings, well after closing time as I visit Coles, I have seen the owner/workers working hard cleaning every part of the shop in preparation for the following day. That is true dedication !!!
I have seen a " Certificate of Excellence " displayed near the Cashier. I asked what the certificate meant. It's awarded for " excellence in shop hygiene and customer service, as well as other business practices.
The staff are friendly, happy, and knowledgeable in the food and beverages on offer. Very professional.
Congratulations owners and staff of Donut King Burwood...
