We recently tried this much reviewed and recommended Turkish restaurant in Burwood that serves an expansive menu. Indulge in the rich flavors of Turkish cuisine with Adana Kebabs, a tantalizing grilled delight originating from the vibrant city of Adana. Crafted from finely minced meat, typically lamb or beef, seasoned with an array of spices including paprika, cumin, and garlic, each succulent skewer promises a burst of savory goodness with every bite. Served alongside traditional accompaniments such as sumac-dusted onions, fresh tomatoes, and tangy yogurt sauce, Adana Kebabs offer a harmonious blend of smoky char and aromatic spices.
Pair your meal with a piping hot cup of Turkish tea, known for its robust flavor and ritualistic preparation. Sipped slowly, this fragrant brew provides the perfect complement to the bold flavors of the kebabs, offering a moment of warmth and relaxation.
Round off your culinary journey with a decadent slice of Arabic Knafeh dessert, featuring layers of crispy shredded phyllo dough, gooey cheese, and sweet syrup, topped with a sprinkle of crushed pistachios. This irresistible treat is a testament to the rich culinary heritage of the Middle East, providing a sweet and satisfying conclusion to your Turkish feast.
A great dining experience in...

Myself and my wife regularly dine at this place so was very disappointed - not so much about the hair but about what happened after it was pointed out to staff. I ordered double grilled dish (1 adana, 1 chicken - with rice, bread and pickled sides). Started eating the chicken, was great, a quarter into the Adana and a hair comes straight out intertwined into the Adana at least 10cm long - I immediately stop and call staff. They offer another dish, i decline as i am turned off at this stage and have lost my appetite. “I” request a refund for the dish as shockingly i was not offered this at all after what had just happened. Speak to the manager she offers a 50% discount off my dish because i had already eaten 1 of the skewers (chicken) and says that the hair didn’t come from the kitchen. I ask where it came from then and she said the ‘air’ floating around and landed on my dish and somehow got intertwined into my adana. Wow. She then says it was my wifes hair and that we put it there. We both couldn’t believe what what we were hearing. We paid the bill and left. Unfortunately this place has lost a few loyal customers from an issue which could have been resolved easily with adequate...
Read moreA group us went for dinner 18 adults 6 children - Total 24 Booking for 27, 3 cancelled last minute (2 moving house) Price $60 per adult. Had to ask for more food as each person was paying by head & food brought to share with 3. Time to pay charged for 25 adults. Said minimum 25 adults to use the room. We were a family group so 2 tables = 20 & 1 table = 7 (3 unable to come) Only 1 waitress serving with another coming to help a couple of times. If we had filled the room with 25 adults where would the 6 children sit? We had collected $1170 because they only accepted cash payment - included payment for 3 children over 6 years. Children hardly ate anything. We were charged $1500. There was no consideration that the children needed to be seated & counted - 24 At least we could of all shared the extra $60. Instead they took $330 extra. So it was not value for money & Not a family friendly venue. We won't be going back. Unfortunately this will not affect their business as their position on a busy street assures that the restaurant downstairs is always full as it was on the night that...
