Herosushi Burwood — Restaurant in Sydney

Honestly, I would NOT buy from here.

Sushi can be good from here but it has good and really bad days, prices are average, some of the staff are decent but don’t always understand you.

I actually worked there for a little while, and left because of a few things but one of the reasons was how low the standard for oh+s practices were; we only sweep the floor, no mop, the place was a mess when I got there (dust and black gunk around every corner and the deep fryer was yellow on the outside instead of silver) I did all I could to clean it up but I’m only 1 person.

My last straw was; We had one day where the fridges were 20 degrees plus! And they were still selling food out of it all day, when I found that out after repeatingly saying to the manager and supervisor that someone could DIE from this and that if someone did I could never live with myself if I knew I sold that to them! I left within half an hour after I found that out and I ended up putting in my resignation a week or two later. They seem to have no sympathy for human health and only care...

Do not eat at Hero Sushi.... Me, my wife and my son had sushi in there, and my wife discover chewing gum jnside her sushi rice. Until today 10 july 2019, we still have to wait for the dispute and have to wait 3 months for results from blood check if have any disease of hiv and hepatitis from the chewing gum that chewed already... So disgusting...

I have to reported to centre management, council, food regulation and also we had to see doctor. We ate around 4pm, but we have to go to all nightmare till 10pm.

My mum was looking for salmon sashimi box and she couldn't find it in quick enough because she has poor eyesight. So she purchased the nigiri box and saw the sashimi box that she originally was looking for, hidden in the corner, but the Hero sushi girl would not let my mum exchange even though my mum did not touch this box yet. Even though my mum politely offered to wait till another customer was served and clearly offered to pay extra, the lady was extremely rude and refused to exchange the item she paid for 3 seconds prior.
