In order to write a fair and transparent comment. I give the ‘food’ two stats since those foods here can reach the average level of Chinese restaurant.
However, as for other dimensions. If I get chance to give ‘zero’ star, I will do it definitely. Zero service, zero atmosphere and zero at all.
Me and my friend, we two walked in this restaurant nearly 18.10 pm and then we’ve been led to a seat located at the corner. It’s ok, even there are still a lot of unoccupied seats. After we sited, there was no service last about 15 mins. No one brought us menu, no one took our order and not even ONE bottle of tap water. We seemed like two transparent people until my friend walked to waitress twice and asked for service directly.
So, we sited there for almost 20 mins, we can finally take our order! Wohoo! Yeah!
Unfortunately, both of us didn’t expect that another round of ‘waiting’ game started. We waited for half hour and not even one dish served. I took a picture to my watch, it showed that until 18.55, we still got a totally empty table! Amazing!
Moreover, we’ve seen another table with almost eight persons. They arrived ten minutes after us, but they received their dishes UNSTOPPABLE! Wow! We asked staff why this miracle happened, they replied us that those gentlemen pre-booked and ordered before arrival. Well, it explains why they can get their food efficiently, but I don’t think that can explain why we can’t get any food after waiting for 50 mins.
Whatever, we finally get our food. Which required us to come to waiters and ask for food directly for five or six times, I’ll say that was such a tough dinner.
To sum up, there are some tips for customers who want to have a meal there. 1️⃣If you are not good at those social things. Be cautious! You can only get your tablet service or food with tears and blood. 2️⃣If you are hungry and expect to get some food ASAP. Be cautious! Cause there might be thousands of what they called ‘Pre-booked’ customers waiting even it looks like quite empty in the restaurant.
Thus, if you are a tough guy with professional social skills or conflict management skills. And you are not very hungry which means you expect to get your food after one hour.
Congratulations!!! You are the best person to start your unbelievable...
Read morePlease be careful when coming here- we walked away feeling ripped off and misled. First they added and charged for an extra dumpling without asking us. Fine we let it go. Then when we got the bill- we got charged $50 for the duck when the menu clearly said $25! See attached photo. We questioned this and the main waiter said well I asked if you wanted half duck (we thought he was just confirming what we were ordering as I pointed to it where the $25 price was). On the menu there was only a $25 price for the duck but not whether it's a quarter or half duck so instead of telling us 'it's not written there but the $25 is for a quarter duck but if you want half duck it will be $50 not $25 as stated on the menu' it would have been clear to us and we would have said no thank you the quarter for $25 is fine. If you want to run an honest business then please be transparent about what you are charging customers for instead of asking if we want something without disclosing the extra price. Having to pay $50 for half duck when it feels like we have been tricked into it is excessive. There's no apologies for this misleading pricing, both on the menu and by the waiter himself. I would avoid this place as it doesn't feel like we can relax and enjoy the experience if we have to constantly be questioning what they will charge extra without telling us! We were thinking of planning a business lunch for our company here but would now be warning all our colleagues and friends against coming here instead. Please avoid but if you somehow end up here PLEASE please question everything when you order to avoid paying $50 for a plate of duck without...
Read moreOur family of 5 visited on a Sat night. When we booked we were told that that there was a function in the indoor part of the restaurant and hence we reserved seats in the outdoor area. Although the dumplings that were served were tasty, there were some major concerns with the time taken to serve the food. When we arrived, a table had not been reserved as promised. Two small round tables were cobbled together for us. We later moved ourselves to a nicer table. The food took extremely long to arrive and one order did not arrive at all. For example, there were some dished that took close to 1 hour to arrive. We were waiting for another dish for more than 45min. When we followed up, it was clear they had not only forgotten the order but also informed us that they had ran out of that particular dish – when were they planning on telling us that??!! At that point I was just fed up and left as I was not willing to wait another hour for more food. They call themselves a ‘restaurant’ but there was no table service. We ordered our meals and drinks from the bar, had to pre-pay on order, picked up our drinks from the bar, and had to request that our tables be cleaned (they were still sticky from the previous customers when...
