Reply to the owner,

If you have problem with other cafes fix it with them don’t use google review to fix it. IM QUITE SURE ITS YOUR RESTAURANT in town hall. if you can’t remember what you used to serve this means you need to check your information with your staff not write it in google review . No I WILL NOT DELET MY REVIEW AND QUITE SURE ITS YOUR RESTAURANT. AND I REMEMBER CLEARLY WHERE DID I HAVE MY MEAL. The service horrible and price expensive. Rude reply shows horrible customer service. Try to be more professional with customers šŸ˜‰ instead of being rude in your google reply.

Horrible experience there. Ordered Large coffee received small coffee with tea pot that I didn’t order. The manager and the waiters manners with costumers need to work on. As I finished my meal that was greasy and full of oil which was fish and chips. I walked out and forget to pay because I thought I paid when I ordered. I smiled to the manager who show a disgusting look at me. I walked out and stood at the groom of the cafe fixing my bag before I hear someone calling you didn’t pay. I smiled and apologised and went back to pay. I DIDNT RUN I WAS STANDING INFRONT OF THE CAFE AND GREET THE MANAGER BEFORE I LEAVE SO OBVIOUSLY I WASNT AVOIDING PAYING AND IT ONLY MISTAKE. I apologised 2 times and explained what happened in a very nice manner but they ignored me as if I stole something from them. The food is bad and tastes bad. They make a lot of mistakes plus rude to customers. NEVER GO THERE again as there are many places that more profinsional...

Went to this cafĆ© today with my kids to set off good mood on last day of school holidays. The setting was nice, especially the waterfall on one side. But that’s where the positives end.

The food was just ok, (I had better), the coffee was warm, fish a bit soggy oil. We ordered fish and chips, berries pancakes, and a coffee. It cost over $57, which felt steep. I wouldn’t mind paying that if the service matched the price.

What really ruined the experience, and something I’ve never heard before, was being told I had to pay $2.50 just to get a small plate so I could share the pancake with my son. Seriously? I was shocked and refused. Later, I asked for a bit of extra sauce for the fish and chips. The staff said that would be $1.50. They made it very clear that everything extra comes with a charge.

I understand extra charges with takeaway orders. But when you dine in, most people expect basic things like a side plate or sauce to be included. The constant add-on fees felt cheap and scammy. It left a bad taste, literally and figuratively. The pricing and attitude just put us off completely.

So no, I don’t recommend this place. And I won’t...

I recently visited this high tea restaurant and was thoroughly disappointed. While the decor and ambience was gorgeous that was about it. The service was shockingly bad. The staff seemed disinterested, and it took forever for anyone to even acknowledge our presence. The food was the major letdown—the tea selection was mediocre at best, and the sandwiches were dry and tasteless. The pastries, which should have been the highlight, were stale and lacked flavor. But the worst part? The manager. He was visibly annoyed when we asked about the quality of food being served and acted like we were inconveniencing him for raising our concerns & because one of our party has a gluten intolerance that was mentioned in the booking (failure to comply with dietary requirements). He also accused us of complaining on the purpose of not wanting to pay, despite not eating 90% of the food as it was inedible. (We still paid) It’s clear that the staff’s bad attitude starts at the top. For the price of $56 pp, I expected so much more in both quality and experience. This place is a total letdown, and I won't be returning. GO...

The food here is pretty good! We got the Eggs Benedict, Sweet Potato Fries, Squid and Matcha Latte earlier in the week. The portions are pretty generous and we enjoyed the food, however I found the matcha was a bit of a letdown with it quite powdery and grainy. I wish I could say I enjoyed my experience here but overall we felt quite rushed and not looked after by the staff. We asked for a bottle/jug of water and they insisted on pouring us a cup of water each time. While we were finishing our meal they started mopping the floor a couple hours before closing with chemicals that were quite strong which made the dine in experience not as enjoyable as we thought it would be since we saw great reviews online We later requested a takeaway box for our fries and were handed a paper bag and we were abruptly asked to pay by staff It’s a shame because I did enjoy the food overall but I’m not sure I’d come back based on how we were treated by the staff

Their brunch menu is simple but with interesting twists that make it stand out from other cafes in the CBD. We started with the Basil Pasta (I added chicken – because basil and chicken is simply the best combo!). The flavors were fresh, and the chicken was tender, making it super satisfying. The Wagyu sandwich was a recommendation from the staff, and it did not disappoint. The bread was crispy, the Wagyu beef was juicy, and the sandwich came with a perfectly cooked egg – a must-try if you visit! We also ordered the Acai Smoothie and the Mango Honey Smoothie. The mango smoothie was blended with honey, giving it a sweet, comforting taste. It’s a refreshing yet indulgent drink. The highlight, though, was their Edible Garden. It’s a cake made to look like a potted plant, with Oreo ā€œdirt,ā€ a melon base, and candy rocks that brought me back to my childhood. It’s a playful and creative dessert that’s both fun and delicious.
