I placed a mobile order at 6:20 PM for pick-up at this KFC location. When I arrived a little after 7:00 PM, the front counter staff told me they couldn’t find my order. I waited nearly an hour in total, only to be told—without any real effort to help—that “maybe you ordered at a different store.” The staff casually checked the system and looked at the orders sitting on the counter, and since they didn’t see my name, they just dismissed me.
I double-checked everything on my phone: the store address, the order number, my name—it was all correct. I even told them I placed the order over an hour ago. But instead of helping me further, the staff just brushed me off and told me to move aside so they could serve other customers.
I then went to the pickup area and asked a female staff member, hoping for more help. Unfortunately, her attitude was even worse. After I gave her my name and order number, she checked the system and did find my order. She printed out the receipt and very rudely tossed it at me without saying a word. When I asked her how much longer I needed to wait, she finally told me that someone else had already picked up my food before I arrived.
This raises serious questions about how orders are handled. Isn’t the staff supposed to confirm the customer’s name and order number before handing over food? If someone else took my order, that’s clearly not my fault. And yet I was treated like an inconvenience the whole time.
If I had simply walked away, would I have just lost both my food and money? The lack of responsibility and courtesy shown by the staff was shocking. I believe the management of this location urgently needs to improve employee training. Promotions and mobile ordering are supposed to make the customer experience better, not worse.
In the end, the wings I ordered felt like they really did come by airplane from the US—that’s how long it took. Honestly, I’ve never experienced this kind of rude treatment even at McDonald’s. Maybe the Colonel has gotten too old and forgotten how customer...
Read moreI recently had the misfortune of dining at KFC, and to say that it was a disappointing experience would be a severe understatement. From the moment I stepped foot into the establishment, I was met with an overwhelming sense of regret and disgust.
Let's start with the ambiance, or lack thereof. The restaurant was dingy and unkempt, with a distinct odor of grease and stale air permeating the space. The tables were sticky, the floors were dirty, and the overall atmosphere was reminiscent of a rundown diner from a horror movie.
Now, onto the food – or should I say, the abomination that passed for food at this establishment. The chicken was overcooked to the point of being inedible, resembling nothing more than a dried-up piece of leather. It was evident that it had been sitting under a heat lamp for far too long, as it lacked any semblance of juiciness or flavor.
As for the sides, they were equally dismal. The mashed potatoes were watery and tasteless, as if they had been reconstituted from a powder mix moments before serving. The coleslaw was a sad excuse for a salad, drowning in an overwhelming amount of mayonnaise and devoid of any freshness or crunch.
To add insult to injury, the service was atrocious. The employees seemed disinterested and apathetic, displaying a total lack of regard for the customers. It took an eternity to place my order, and when it finally arrived, it was cold and sloppily thrown together.
In conclusion, my experience at KFC was nothing short of a nightmare. From the dismal ambiance to the atrocious food and abysmal service, there is absolutely nothing redeeming about this establishment. Save yourself the trouble and avoid KFC at all costs – your taste buds and sanity...
Read moreMonths ago, I visited this KFC branch. After getting my order, I went up the first floor, put my food box down on a table, turned around to ask a staff where to get some sauce, turned back, and my food was gone. Literally. Just.... gone. In the span of less than a minute.
Confused, I asked the few people nearby if they saw anyone taking it, and nobody paid attention. Shocked, then angry, I ran downstairs, in a desperate hope to catch whoever it was that stole my food, of course to no avail. It was packed anyway. Defeated, I decided to tell the manager in charge, just as a FYI. I honestly didn’t expect anything. It was my fault for being careless after all. If anything, I thought they’d do the usual victim-blaming things, ie asking “are you sure someone stole it”, saying “ah you should have been more careful”, etc.
To my amazement, though, after looking initially confused and perhaps perplexed, the manager offered to give me my whole order, for free! I asked if she was sure, and she nodded, saying sorry it happened. I got my food (again) after only a few minutes, and sat on a tiny seat looking out of the window, happily munched away at the thought of some kindness still existing in this capitalism world. (Of course, it could have been that they would rather take an order loss than having a customer complain or write a bad review about the store, but I digress) There’s usually a long queue, the floor and tables constantly need some wiping down, and the stuffy air of multiple human bodies stuffed in too small a space is uncomfortable, but I can’t help but like this place, thanks to...
