Firstly I was disappointed that there was no choice for the 80% chocolate anymore. That was the Lindt killer. There was just regular "dark" hot chocolate.

I used a bogof coffee voucher, but requested hot chocolate instead. I was told that I could only buy one regular hot chocolate and the free one would be a small size drink and since there's no small hot chocolate I could only choose from chai latte, tea and something else non chocolate. I asked if the free drink could be half a regular cup of hot chocolate. This was denied. I couldn't quite understand the explanation about small hot chocolates, but I later found that there were small cups. So apparently there's a rule about not serving a smaller quantity of hot chocolate. Perhaps menu design could be improved.

The hot chocolate (pictured) was not full.

The hot chocolate tasted like mere sweet milk. But after drinking half of it I saw the undissolved chocolate stuck on the bottom of the cup. I stirred it and then it started to taste like dark chocolate.

I was not given a chocolate shell. While I didn't expect to be given two, I was expecting to be given one. I thought that giving one chocolate shell was standard practice, but I hadn't been there for a long time.

The chai latte was apparently not bad.

I expected Guylian the Belgian Chocolate provider to promote their chocolate related products, i.e. maybe bogof hot chocolate instead of coffee. This was also...

If I could give 0/10 it would be too high a score.

A nice looking chocolate cafe from the outside. However at 10 pm on a Friday night with 3 staff members on i was appalled at the service. There were a few people seated outside but no one inside, my girlfriend ordered the waffle with milk chocolate, the waiter asked if dark chocolate was alright. Which it was. 5 minutes later the waiter came and served the waffle on a paper plate and had the guile to say as he turned his back that cutlery was down the end of the restaurant.

Issues Waffle was like wet cardboard Couldn't taste the dark chocolate sauce/hardly any at all. Could taste the paper plate on the waffle Cutlery was wood thus was able to taste the wood flavour. Service was terrible, if it was busy then yes i understand that directing people to there own cutlery is acceptable, but on a quiet saturday night with maybe 5 customers already drinking and eating that this is down right unacceptable and rude.

Pros Looked nice i suppose Vanilla ice cream was lovely.

If i could give at 0 star rating I would. I would strongly recommend that you find an alternative...

I been here for hot chocolate yesterday about 5.00 pm for waiting a friend. I guess the girl who making coffee tonight it’s new.( Sat 2nd June 18 evening shift) Coz I never seen her before. The cashier girl is nice and polite .... totally different from barista. When I got my cup I opened to look inside... omg!!! The froth look so ugly and look like it’s burnt. I never get hot chocolate really hot like this from here.

I siped a bit ... omg it’s so hottttt...I have to spit out and I asked for new cup with barista. It’s too hot. The barista said it’s alway like this to melt the chocolate. Bra bra bra The cashier girl approached to fix for me by mixed with cold chocolate and ask me how the temperature. The barista didn’t do anything to fix for me.

I was so shocked with the way she was explained how to do.. so rude with tone of voice and the way she looked at me. I been here before and all the staffs are polite and will apologise to customers.

This is my first bad experience at...

Stopped by after lunch and couldn’t resist their dessert display, everything looked like it belonged in a pâtisserie window in Paris. I ended up getting a pecan tart, which had a beautifully buttery crust, a generous layer of caramelised pecans, and just the right amount of sweetness so it wasn’t overpowering. The filling had a nice chew and nutty depth, and the base held together well without going soggy. Their range is huge: colourful macarons, elegant cakes, glossy chocolate slices, fresh croissants, and savoury pastries if you’re not in the mood for sweets. The café itself has a warm, polished feel with wood and marble décor, and the staff were friendly without being overbearing. If you love desserts that look as good as they taste, this place is worth the stop. I’ll definitely be back to try their cheesecakes next.

As someone who is absolutely obsessed with cakes and iced beverages - this cafe absolutely ticked all the boxes for me. It’s conveniently located at the exit of Townhall station and I loved the presentation of all their tarts. We ordered the passionfruit tart, lychee and raspberry tart and pistachio white chocolate slice and these looked too pretty to eat! I had a good mix of sour and sweet and none of the cakes were overly sweet which j rate. For our drink choices we opted for the black sesame latte and iced mango matcha which was sooo nice I loved this combination. The vibes here are so lovely and you kinda just get lost in time.
