Don't get scammed and ripped off like me ordering the $15 laksa , they call it "Members Special". It's outstandingly special in all the negative sense all right. My bowl of laksa was just full of salty orange-coloured soup with hardly any laksa aroma, taste like salty soup without much laksa favour. It has also hardly any noodles in it, it's just all soup, salty soup. They advertised that the laksa includes king prawns and mussels - the mussels were not cooked properly, the shells were still closed, I had to open the shells up myself; the king prawns are basically those medium-sized prawn from the buffet, nothing remotely close to king prawns. The way the Star runs its business is incredibly deceptive and predatory - don't ever spend one cent at food quarter. Better off going to 88 Noodles ar Crown Casino Sydney, same amount of money but much better food.

The floor was full of black gunk, scum marks, and food debris. Just like the 24 hour sports bar, staff there wiped food debris off the table straight to the floor; instead of using a plate to collect the...

The food is not good. Seafood is bland favours are watered down. Nobody at my table enjoyed their meal.

Went here with some family while visiting the casino. While the casino is generally upscale the food here was anything but. I ordered the seafood pasta. Others at my table ordered the curry, the wonton soup, the satay and the pork. While everything was palatable, I can't day anything better. Everyone commented that the proteins were bland, the seafood especially tasted almost freezer burnt. My pasta, which I would've expected to be full of classic flavours like garlic, lemon tasted like canned tomatoes sauce with frozen seafood. While everyone finished there meal everyone commented on the poor quality and the lack of flavours. The highlight was the curry which had more flavour than other dishes but still failed to meet expectations.

If you're at the casino I would recommend the fat noodle which is highly reviewed. I would stay away from...

What a disappointment. We stayed at the Star for 3 nights and wanted to try all the Star restaurants. Ordered 2 dishes between the 2 of us. We ordered the whole barramundi, which was overcooked. It tasted like it had been pre-fried and left aside until someone ordered it. It wasn't crispy but just dry and hard. The sweet and sour sauce tasted like it was straight out of a store bought bottle. The fried prawn and chicken noodles was a stodgy mess without any flavour. Prawns were the cheap frozen kind that have that artificial snap to them without any taste. Prices aren't exactly cheap. The western food options may have been better from what I could see of them. I'd be embarrassed to serve up food like this and call myself...

This place caters more for the Asian community; seeing that the majority of their customers are Asian and the restaurant is in the middle of the star casino. Let's start with the chips, cold and hot.... mixed chips.... golden rule.. throw out your old chips... for God's sake. Me being a diabetic enjoy my diet coke or Pepsi max.... none of these available.... no points for accomodation for non sugared drinks. The burger as you can see was presented very well,,acceptable taste... but... the meat was over cooked and the bun tasted stale...I suggest you don't go if you are going to have any food that is non asian. Dissapointing.

Food Quarter offers a diverse dining experience, featuring a variety of cuisines all in one convenient location. With multiple food stations serving dishes from different regions, it caters to a wide range of tastes and preferences. Whether youโ€™re craving Asian stir-fry, hearty burgers, or Mediterranean-inspired dishes, thereโ€™s something for everyone. The ambiance is casual and lively, making it an ideal spot for a quick meal or a casual lunch with friends. The service is generally efficient, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Itโ€™s perfect for those looking for variety in one spot without compromising on quality.
