Two of us went there for lunch today. Arrived around 12.40. Sat down and looked at menu. I went to the counter and asked where we order and was told table service. About 5 minutes later a table of 5 sat down at another table and then a couple minutes later a table of 3. There was only one waitress so she was pretty busy. 5 minutes later she served the table of 5 and took their order (a number gets placed on the table which is how I knew). Couple minutes later she must have gone to the table of three and took their order as there was now a number on their table. I went to the counter and said that we had arrived before the other tables but our order had not been taken. I gave our order and took the number back to our table. We ordered 2 simple dishes, eggs on toast and a egg wrap. I noticed around 1.15 the table of 5 received their order. Then about 10 minutes later the table of 3. At 1.45 we still had not received our order and the table of 5 had left. At 1.50 I was now pretty upset and went to the counter. I asked for the manager, the man making the coffee said he was the manager. I started to tell him that we had not been served, others were served before us and our coffees were cold but he just continued to make coffee, said nothing and not even look at me. This made me further angry, no attention, no apology, not even another coffee on the house, NOTHING. I even said to him that he could not even stop working and give me the respect of looking at me. I told him his management and PR skills were highly lacking and that I would post a review of this experience and his rudeness. The food, good - the service, there is NONE. Blame...
Read moreGreat attempt but misses the mark. I see the owner is active here which is good so please review your use of gluten. You mark the lamb as grass fed but do you know why this is has become a marketing angle? Those who avoid gluten as a lifestyle choice (because of it's proven effects on brain degeneration leading to alzheimers etc) also therefore avoid animals fed gluten as the meat from these animals passes the inflammation (and then degeneration) effects on. So please don't advertise a grass fed meat and then put a gluten containing gravy on it. Especially don't say it's gluten free and then come back after I've started and say oh "actually how allergic are you"? It's not a time for a discussion about the modern science of inflammation analysis and i'll just say "oh no it's okay". This type of inflammation response is independent of the quantity consumed. The fact I've already started means i may as well keep going - the damage is done for the...
Read moreCame here for lunch today and when I ordered via the QR code the browser glitched and it looked as if my order didn’t go through so I went inside to order and pay at the counter. A few minutes later the waiter arrived with an extra drink than what we ordered - as it turns out, my order via the QR code did go through so there had been a double order placed. This was an honest mistake but I was made to feel incredibly uncomfortable and as if I had done this on purpose. When I went inside to sort out the matter, the waitress behind the counter was rolling her eyes and when she told the chefs about the mix up I could hear them shouting and getting angry. I was standing there while they were angrily discussing what happened right in front of me.
I understand that it’s a frustrating situation but the way I was made to feel was completely uncalled for and unprofessional. Really disappointed with how I was treated and don’t feel like...
