I came home and just feel so appalled by the service I received today . I came in to order a matcha milk latte and when I asked the girl to blend it for me , she looked at me in disgust . She eventually blended it for me after I told her I’ve been given it before blended .
I also ordered 2 pancakes take away . When I asked for warm milk in a cup for my daughter , I was charged the price of 2 babychinos which makes absolutely no sense .
What made me ANGRY though is that after I ordered all these items , I asked if I can sit inside to feed my kids due to the cold and windy weather . I was not allowed in because I ordered take way . Regardless of what I ordered , proper customer care looks after its customers and I wanted to feed my 2 young kids INSIDE . When they saw me feeding them outside , they didn’t even allow me in .
If I could give zero stars for the horrible horrible staff - the 2 female staff members did not let me in or even think , hey she’s a mum , she wants to quickly come in feed her kids and leave .
They are not welcoming and terrible staff especially the one wearing the coloured contacts . I hope when they get kids one day , someone refuses them entry inside when it’s cold so they can experience the same anger and discomfort I experienced today . They should learn to be accomodating and how to smile . Very very cold .
Edit in response to the reply of my review : I also ordered full cream milk as opposed to oat milk . I would not give my 2 year old daughter oat milk . They did not take my order properly . You have cameras , you can check my order clearly . I was about to go back to say that the order was wrong but was too far away when I noticed she refused to drink it . In regards to being charged , I didn’t have an issue with that because I would have not gone ahead with the order if I didn’t want to pay . I also would have gone back and requested a refund for my order being taken wrong . So please don’t assume it’s about money esp when it comes to my own daughter . There is no need to take criticism personally . I am clearly stating what happened .
She did not offer me the dine in menu when I asked about sitting inside . She did offer to take my takeaway away , i was confused because she didn’t explain the rules to me clearly and say hey this is the rules Of the restaurant and if you want to sit in , you need to dine in. I would have just ordered them in instead .
I think this could have all been avoided with clear and proper communication and understanding where and why I’m asking those questions. This review is left mainly so when mums come around , the staff is more accommodating esp since it’s winter and mothers would sometimes need to be inside for a couple of minutes and then...
Read moreGram Pancakes has quickly become our family’s go-to spot for a sweet treat, and for good reason. Known for their signature soufflé-style pancakes, this place takes “fluffy” to an entirely new level. Each pancake arrives at the table towering and wobbly, almost like a little cloud you can eat. The first bite is pure magic—light, airy, and slightly custardy in the center, with just enough sweetness to melt in your mouth without feeling heavy. The texture is unlike any other pancake I’ve tried; it’s so soft that it almost disappears as soon as you take a bite. Paired with their fresh cream, maple syrup, or seasonal fruits, every forkful feels indulgent yet surprisingly delicate. My daughter absolutely adores this place—it’s her favorite pancake shop, and watching her face light up when her plate arrives is part of the experience. She loves the original flavor, but also enjoys trying their creative seasonal specials.
The presentation is beautiful, too. Each plate is crafted with care, making it as much a feast for the eyes as for the taste buds. The service is warm and attentive, adding to the welcoming atmosphere.
Whether you’re visiting for breakfast, brunch, or an afternoon treat, Gram Pancakes never disappoints. The combination of their unique texture, fresh toppings, and cozy ambiance makes it a spot worth returning to again and again. If you’ve never experienced soufflé pancakes before, this is the place to start—you’ll understand instantly why my daughter and I keep...
Read moreI need To get out more so I stepped into Gram Cafe thinking….what a great match for my appetite today. I wanted to go for breakfast but it was nigh on 12 midday. And I fancied pancakes too. They had both on the menu. I’m not averse to new things but I just got back from Thailand where their idea of a sausage at the hotel breakfast buffet was something cold and not unlike a saveloy. And that’s what was served here. Didn’t eat them. The scrambled eggs were drizzled with some Chilli oil which I sadly had to scrape off. Eggs were ok and good size serve. The meal came with cherry tomatoes-raw. So I’ll take that as another Asian influence. I skipped them Too coz I’m used to a cooked tomato myself. Yes fussy but this is breakfast…but not in Sydney. Tokyo/Bangkok/Singapore Mebbe? And the pancakes were so so. I think the dessert menu is where this place lays em In the aisles so come for the sweet treat offerings. Skip the breakfast. Oh and one of the two waitresses was so absent and near surly I wanted ask her if she wanted tot all about it. Seeing as you order from A QR link….forget about the service. There is none except for food delivery! Covid is over people! If this was my cafe I’d overhaul everything ! I’m very critical of service and breakfast offerings having 30 plus years in hospitality mainly running breakfast cafe’s. I’m not running this place down. Just giving honest feedback. Might come back and have the pancakes you see in the...
